Translation

I came upon Tiki through following Isabel Klee on Instagram.
Simon said, "Good boy." I was forwarding it to my husband Vince.
I was like, "I think this dog is supposed to be our dog." When Aubrie and Vince adopted Tiki,
they knew that there would inevitably be a period of regression as he adjusted to his new home.
But during those early days, Aubrie caught her husband playing the guitar for Tiki, and suddenly she had her "we're going to be okay" moment.
I realized his curiosity was going to help get him much further.
Walks were a really important introduction for us for Tiki.
It was going to allow us to get him more comfortable with the outside world.
Walks were especially difficult for Tiki, but with some patience, he started making huge strides.
Hi, sir.
Today, Tiki is so excited to go on walks.
It's probably one of his favorite things he does every day.
Tiki, Tiki, are you excited to go for?
Are you excited to go for a walk?
Are you excited?
And Tiki's siblings didn't just help him learn how to build his confidence.
Gaia and Pacific helped him learn how to embrace being a dog, literally.
She'll start howling for me, and Tiki copied her one day.
He would watch her, and he he would start trying to howl like her.
Throw his head back.
Time, patience, and support from Tiki's family did wonders for him, and these days he's really embracing his troublemaker side.
Tiki, hi.
Seeing a dog who went from taking these slow baby steps out from under the bed to suddenly stealing every kitchen towel in his sight
has to be my favorite full circle moment from this story.
Tiki's world has become so much bigger, because of his own bravery, but also because of the gentleness that his parents provided while he found that bravery.
This story isn't just a reminder of how resilient our pets can be, but it's also a reminder of how when we give a dog the time and space that they need,
the bonds that we form with them are everything.
