Grandpa Yoshitaka loves taking Shushu and Miko to Japan's most beautiful flower fields for family photos.
The only problem: his models sometimes just don't agree on the creative direction.
So Grandpa tries again, and again, and again.
And the funny thing is, Shushu and Miko actually love these outings.
You know, they happily wear their harnesses and travel to every single flower field that Grandpa wants.
And most of the time, they are incredible little models.
Every now and then, though, one of them um decides to improvise.
But there's actually a reason why Yoshitaka keeps trying to get these photos, and it all started with another cat named Wolf.
So Wolf was the family's first outdoor model, and they kept taking these pictures with him through his final days.
When Wolf passed, he of course left a huge space behind, but he also left them with this amazing family tradition.
Soon after, Shushu joined the family, and she learned to explore the flower fields and pose for the camera as well.
People sometimes even mistake her for a professional model, which I mean she kind of is.
Then Miko arrived.
She had been rescued near a garbage dump, and when the family decided that she could stay, Shushu was apparently not consulted, and she had a lot of opinions.
I'm not gonna lie, the two did fight at first, but after like a week, they were basically inseparable.
Sisters just fight sometimes, you know.
Once the family realized that Miko loved traveling and wearing a harness, she joined photo shoots too.
Now Grandpa has two little models, and every now and then, twice the chaos.
And of course, every grand production always comes with a little bit of behind-the-scenes drama, and sometimes one of the stars decides to throw a party.
And though Yoshitaka sometimes has to bribe the models to behave, every photo shoot keeps Wolf's tradition going.
They may not always agree on how long a photo shoot should last, but one thing they never seem to disagree on is their love for Grandpa.
Even though they sometimes don't get the photo they were looking for, I think the messy ones are the ones they'll treasure the most, and maybe that was the perfect family photo all along.
not sure what I'm doing.
