Translation

She was like three apples big when I first went and got her.
Now she's like twenty apples big.
How did Penny come into your life?
So a family had originally gotten her as a baby, but then they realized that they weren't equipped properly and had no knowledge of how to take care of a pig.
So they posted her on Snapchat.
I kind of went and got her before I let anybody else know.
So you didn't tell anyone, would you?
I didn't want my husband to say no.
It's better to you know ask forgiveness than permission.
First day we got her, I was rubbing her belly, and she just kind of flopped over.
I wasn't sure if she was okay or not, but then she started winking, grunting, that she was happy.
My daughter had a little plastic knife, and I was just like, just rubbed her belly, and she just fell.
And then as she grew bigger, I had to find bigger objects, such big fork, big rake, just a stick, whatever, whatever was laying there.
What is a typical day in the life of Penny look like?
A lot of napping and eating.
So in the summers, it reaches 100, 114 degrees.
So it's really nobody here wants to do anything.
So it's really a lot of good 19 hours of everybody just laying there.
And as it cools down, she'll get up a little bit more, walk around the yard some more.
But it's still a lot of sleeping.
What has living with Penny taught you about?
They are very smart and keep snacks on hand because they're very food motivated.
If they don't want to listen, just a little sprinkle of their snacks that gets their attention every single time.
They have their very own specific needs and differences from dogs.
They need to go outside to root on the ground.
It's normal.
If your cabinets are open, they're gonna get into it.
They'll get your trash.
They are smart enough to open your cabinet.
She wants the scratches, and so I'm just like, fine.
Let me find something that would feel nice more than my hands.
Does she have like a favorite object that she likes to be scratched with?
The rings, for sure.
I have a comically large fork that she likes as well.
That's my baby girl.
Yes.
はい。
