Translation

He was sitting inside of a tire.
He was laying on the ground, and it was very, very hot that day—probably over a hundred degrees.
He truly was just a stray puppy that had found refuge at a mechanic shop.
Let's go.
He was only maybe six weeks old.
We weren't really sure if he was going to survive because he was in such bad shape.
We just felt heartbroken for him, and it was a sense of urgency that we needed to help him.
After Monica picked him up, we drove over to his foster home to get him on the road to recovery.
When we first picked him up, he was like a little empty shell.
But within a couple of days, he started feeling a lot better, and he would wag his tail so fast.
Hi, it's a good boy.
Oh my goodness, it's a good night.
I get his tail for some nights.
And it was so wonderful to see him just being so happy.
He loved his toys.
He would snuggle them at night, give them little chewies before he fell asleep.
It's so rewarding to take a dog who you're not quite sure they will even survive, and find them a family that just really values them and treats them as a member of the family.
When I called out to her, her little ears just perked right up.
Hey buddy!
It was like she was thinking, "Who me?
" There's honestly no telling where she came from or how she got there.
It's common spot for people to dump their animals off.
Hi!

She's jumping all over me.
Oh my God!

She couldn't have been more than six, seven months old.
Hi!
Oh, you're so big, puppy!
Hi!
When I got her home, the first thing we did was knock out a bath.
When I saw her connecting with my other foster dogs, I just knew we were going to foster her.
Excuse you!
Excuse you!

Shiloh has a silly goofy personality.
Man!
Thankfully, Texas Bark Squad, based in Houston, was able to help us facilitate Shiloh's adoption.
The girl.
The family adored her, of course, but when their golden retriever and Shiloh hit it off, it was a done deal.
Is it your sister?
Aww.
Is it your sister?
Who is that?
Shiloh is very happy in her new home, and we're so happy that we could be a stepping stone in her story.
