Okay, how about some water?
Water should be fine.
Okay.
I was leaving to the gym when I heard this meowing.
He was staring right back at me.
I was really trying to touch him, but he's probably gonna bite me if I just try to touch him.
The apartment building does not allow pets, so I knew we would not be able to keep him inside the apartment.
But I thought maybe if we can keep him, you know, right outside, that would be okay.
He's pushing his head towards me.
We want more scratches.
What is this?
Here's Camila.
Undo this.
I need to get you to a vet first.
Then see what to do.
Yep.
うん。
We're friends already.
We would have to start saying goodbye.
I thought he was gone, so I kind of got my heart broken a little bit.
You gotta be kidding me.
You're back.
But luckily, he was back after a little while.
He's back.
That's when I started asking all of my friends if someone would like to keep.
My friends were asking me about you.
You know that?
Luckily, my friend Yusuf agreed to keep Vega.
Vega.
Vega is living his best life.
Yusuf and his family are taking really good care of him.
I go to see him every once in a while.
He's much healthier and he's playing all the time.
Or sleeping, I guess.
I'm just really glad that I was able to find him a happy home where he could live with good people and take really good care of.
Puka has always had a very big personality, especially for a tiny kitten.
My husband and I were donating a few things, and the first thing I grabbed was his old skateboard.
Suddenly, I heard it rolling.
There was Puka jumping on the skateboard like she was a born natural skateboarder.
It honestly kind of looks like she's performing.
She lands with total intention, like sticking a landing in gymnastics.
Our hallway has basically become her racetrack.
Now that Puka is bigger, she prefers a little VIP treatment.
She'll get on her board and wait patiently for either my husband or I to give her a push.
Sometimes she will actually use her front paw to push off the ground.
The fact that a cat can understand the concept of momentum is pretty wild.
The skateboard matches between Puga and her brother Baloo have become one of our favorite traditions.
After we brought Baloo home, it only felt fair that he joined in on the fun.
Of course, I can't help but feel this deep sense of gratitude and wonder.
Something so unexpected turned into such a joyful part of our world.
She's not just skateboarding; she's creating memories that will be talking about forever.
