Translation

As a Dodo producer, I had to check out this pitbull advocacy photo shoot featuring pitbulls, models, and rescue dogs.
The Dodo
We have ten pities and ten hunks, and lots of flowers.
It's gonna be beautiful.
Pitbulls, just like any other dog, you know, um, you show them love, care, and affection, they'll give it back to you.
Mike Ruiz has photographed everyone from Kim Kardashian to Anne Hathaway, but these days he's using that same creative vision to help dogs.
Every year, Mike Ruiz creates a hunks and hounds calendar to benefit animal rescues, and it has quite the cult following.
Wanted to like use your muscles for the greater good.
This calendar benefits Foster based non-profit Louis Legacy.
Yep, just a regular day at the Dodo, hanging with rescue dogs everywhere, which is my personal favorite kind of office day.
Photographing dogs is a particular kind of art, and Mike Ruiz has it down.
Sometimes you have to bark at your models, or squeak at them, or maniacally jump up and down to get their attention.
Everyone involved in this shoot was donating their time for the love of rescuing dogs, which was so cool.
I also loved that the flowers weren't just for looks.
Pitbulls are so often misunderstood, so the flowers were a symbol of how beautiful and sweet and affectionate they actually are.
Today we got to meet some amazing dogs and some amazing people, and obviously you were back there from the Dodo, and it's been an awesome time.
Every single penny that we generate from this calendar goes directly to services for the Ruiz Legacy Animal Rescue.
