みなさんこんにちは。
Hello everyone.
日本語にっぽんごの森もりのゆかです。
I'm Yuka from Nihongo no Mori.
今日きょうは日本人にほんじんの文字もじの書かき方かたについてお話はなししたいと思おもいます。
Today I'd like to talk about how Japanese people write characters.
真面目まじめな日本人にほんじんですが、いつもいつも丁寧ていねいに言葉ことばを書かいているわけではありません。
Serious Japanese people, but they don't always write words politely all the time.
自分じぶんだけが見みる文章ぶんしょうや
For sentences only I will see, or
急いそいでメモを取とるときは、本当ほんとうの形かたちと少すこし違ちがった形かたちで文字もじを書かくことがよくあります。
when taking notes in a hurry, we often write characters in a slightly different form from the real form.
今日きょうはそれを皆みなさんにご紹介しょうかいしたいと思おもいます。
Today I'd like to introduce that to you.
まずはひらがなですね。
First, hiragana.
ひらがなでよく形かたちを変かえて書しょえるものを紹介しょうかいします。
I'll introduce hiragana that are often written with changed shapes.
ちょっと書かいてみますね。
Let me write a little.
じゃあ、ゆか先生せんせい日本語にっぽんご勉強べんきょうします。
Well, Yuka-sensei studies Japanese.
皆みなさんこれ何なにかわかりますか？
Everyone, do you know what this is?
まあ文章ぶんしょうを見みればわかりますよね。
Well, you can tell by looking at the sentence, right?
まず一ひとつ目め、ゆか先生せんせいとですね。
First one, Yuka-sensei and, well.
ひらがなの例れいが「日本語にっぽんごを勉強べんきょうします」です。
The hiragana example is "study Japanese".
すごく急いそいでいるときはこんな風ふうにととををつくる
When I'm in a big hurry, I make the "to" like this
つくるって書かくだけにしてしまうことがよくあります。
I often just end up writing it as just making "tsukuru".
これは私わたしはよく使つかいますね。
I use this a lot.
本当ほんとうだったら一二いちにをだったら一二いちに三さん書かかないといけないのを
Normally for one-two, you'd have to write one-two-three
もうすぐ書かけますよね。
but you can write it quickly now, right?
すごく時間じかんが短みじかくなります。
It saves a lot of time.
私わたしは自分じぶんのノートはよくこんな風ふうに書かきます。
I often write like this in my own notebook.
ひらがなの「と」とひらがなの「つ」ですね。
Hiragana "to" and hiragana "tsu", right.
二ふたつ目め、漢字かんじです。
Second, kanji.
これは書かいてみるので何なんという漢字かんじか当あててください。
I'll write this so please guess what kanji it is.
はい。
Yes.
門もん。
Gate.
皆みなさんこれは何なんという漢字かんじでしょうか。
Everyone, what kanji is this?
時間じかんの間あいだ、本当ほんとうはこんな風ふうに、周まわりに門もんという漢字かんじがありますね。
For time's "aida", actually like this, there's the kanji for gate around it.
でもこの門もんは書かくのがすごくすごく大変たいへんですよね。
But this gate is really, really hard to write.
だから日本人にほんじんはよくこの門もんの部分ぶぶんをこれだけ、これだけにしてしまいます。
So Japanese people often reduce this gate part to just this, just this.
これは本当ほんとうによく使つかう使つかい方かたですね。
This is a really commonly used way.
他ほかにも聞きくとか、あと問とうというような漢字かんじは中なかが耳みみだったり口くちが入はいりますよね。
Also, like "kiku" to listen, or "tou" to ask, the inside is ear or mouth, right.
その時ときもこれが使つかえます。
You can use this then too.
もう一ひとつ漢字かんじでよく使つかうものがあります。
There's one more thing often used in kanji.
ちょっと書かいてみますね。
Let me write it a bit.
はい、皆みなさんこれわかりますか。
Yes, everyone, do you know this?
これは私わたしが小学生しょうがくせいの時ときに見みた時ときは何なにが書かいてあるか全然ぜんぜんわかりませんでした。
When I saw this as an elementary school student, I had no idea what was written.
全然ぜんぜんわかりませんでした。
I had no idea at all.
でもこれは皆みなさんがよく知しっている漢字かんじです。
But this is a kanji you all know well.
これの答こたえは。
The answer to this is.
これです。
This is it.
前後ぜんごの前まえという感かんじですね。
It's the "mae" in "zen-go" before and after.
この前まえという感かんじ、好すきとこのカタカナのリを書かかないといけないんですが、これが大変たいへんなので日本人にほんじんはよく
For this "mae" kanji, you have to write suki and this katakana "ri", but that's hard so Japanese people often
これね、このまだくるくるを書かいてしまいます。
write this, this still curly thing.
こう何々なになにをする前まえにこれをしておいてねとか、この前まえという漢字かんじを使つかうことって結構けっこうありますよね。
Like, before doing something, do this, or we use the kanji "mae" quite a lot, right.
その時ときにメモにこれが書かかれていたら前まえという意味いみなので覚おぼえておいてください。
When this is written in a memo, it means "mae", so please remember that.
はい、今日きょうは日本人にほんじんの文字もじの書かき方かたについて少すこし紹介しょうかいしました。

をとそれからもんですね。
The "wo-to" and then "mon", right.
『間あいだ』と聞きくとこれで書かきます。
When you hear "aida" for "ma", write it like this.
それから前まえですね。
And before that.
くるくるくるこれだけになります。

一ひとつ注意ちゅういしてほしいんですが、これは真似まねをしてくださいと言いいたいわけではありません。

むしろこういう書かき方かたはしない方ほうがいいと思おもいます。

文字もじは丁寧ていねいに書かけば書かくほどいいし、丁寧ていねいに書かくことはこの文字もじを見みる人ひとに対たいする礼儀れいぎです。
The more carefully you write characters, the better, and writing carefully is courtesy toward the person who reads them.
だから適当てきとうな文字もじを書かくのはあまり良よくないと私わたしは思おもいます。
So I think writing sloppy characters is not very good.
でも自分じぶんがメモをするときとかすごく急いそいでいるときはとっても便利べんりなので覚おぼえておくといいと思おもいます。
But it's very convenient when you're taking notes for yourself or when you're in a big hurry, so I think it's good to remember it.
英語えいごには筆記体ひっきたいみたいなものがありますよね。
English has things like cursive, right?
皆みなさんのお国くにの文字もじにはこのように簡単かんたんに文字もじを書かく方法ほうほうがありますか？
