"Travel Japan, Learn Japanese" was here, in the Books on Japan section. They had all 12 books there. It's "BOOK 1st" at Shinjuku West Exit, so please go if you'd like. Next to it, there were many books about yokai. My husband was also in Shinjuku, so we decided to meet up. "Meet up" means people who were moving separately come together. As I was walking, I smelled the fragrance of kinmokusei (fragrant olive). Surprisingly, the kinmokusei was already blooming. This day was September 19th. I was surprised that the kinmokusei was already blooming. The crane under construction really looked like a crane (bird). Two cranes looked like they were facing each other. I found my husband. Since there was still time until our meeting, we decided to rest at a cafe, but the cafe we wanted to go to had people lining up. This is Omoide Yokocho. Let's walk through it a bit. There are many small shops. Most of them are drinking places. "Drinking place" means a shop for drinking alcohol. It was around 3:30 at this time, so it was quite empty. Because it's still a bit early to drink alcohol. This is a soba and udon shop. I think it gets really crowded at night. Omoide Yokocho has about 80 shops in total. We came to the opposite end of Omoide Yokocho. It was interesting. We crossed the road, went under the railway tracks, and came to the East Exit side. I decided to try this cafe. But the seats on the 2nd floor were full. The seats in the basement were also full. Everywhere was crowded and there was no cafe we could get into at all, so we decided to look for a cafe in the underground mall. How about this coffee shop? Shop staff: "It's for dining only, is that okay?"
