Good evening everyone, it's MK. Mario Kart...
Update series part...
Here we go. Continuing from last time, I'll be racing the newly added Survival Rally on Mirror mode using Wiggler.
Last time I used Daisy, who is a middleweight, so this time let's go all out with a middleweight, shall we? King Boo.
His top hat is cool, isn't it? Let's go with this. If I'm going to win with the top hat, I want the kart to be the Movie Star,
but...
This thing has terrible speed and almost no acceleration.
For those of you looking forward to seeing if I can get a star with this custom build,
please subscribe to the channel and hit the like button. Up until now, I've gotten 3 stars on the Propeller Cup 150cc and Mirror,
and I've also gotten 3 stars on the Cup 150cc, so all that's left is this Mirror mode. Let's do our best. Starting from DK's
Mountain, then Parallel Carnival, and well, since it's Survival, of course, I have to pass through all the gates in 1st place,
but since there's no acceleration, if I get caught up in the mess at the start, I really won't be able to get to the front. So, I'll try to get to the front right away,
collect 20 coins,
and then just keep pulling away. That's the only way to win with a middleweight, right? Seriously, spare me the mess at the start. At the beginning,
if I can get a Mushroom or something, I can get to the front. Wait, this might be it. I have double items, but...
If I get a Mushroom or a Triple Mushroom at the start, that would be perfect. Alright,
here I go. There's no time to be doing item defense from the back when using a middleweight. And, I'll take this wind, but there's no character in front of MK, so wait,
wait, if I miss this, it'll be a disaster. Right here.
And a Triple Mushroom? Hmm, I got a Mushroom, but why did the guy in front get a Triple Mushroom and I only got one?
Wait, let me go around the outside once.
I trust that I'll get a Triple Mushroom with this. Alright, perfect.
Now, wait, stop with that lightning.
Don't throw it at me. Just throw that at the enemy in front. One more, okay, okay, okay. I got two coins, and since I only have one Mushroom, I'll swap it here.
And I'll take the wind. Wait, I want to take a shortcut, but...
Since it's Mirror mode,
I don't really know the way. Uh, Triple Mushroom, wait, I'll pass through here, right? This...
Uh, the lightning is the worst thing that could happen.
I'll use one here. Oh, here? Yes, here.
And I used the double item. I'm in front. Wait, if there's a good shortcut before the lightning,
it might be okay to go in.
Where is the entrance? Where is it? Uh, uh, uh,
uh, what kind of path is this? I don't know the path at all, but is it here?
I'll go in here and take the shortcut to get ahead. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Ah,
what is this? Seriously, spare me that right now.
Anyway, I was able to take 1st place. Now,
the banana that guy threw
was really far away. And from here on, right? Since I'm quite far ahead, oh, well, well, well, it's King Boo, so...
Is it true that Boo doesn't haunt me? I wonder about that. 1st place,
with 16 coins,
already...
もう
That's right, I'm not doing item defense from the back from here on, so...
Wait, am I going to enter the sushi shop? Wait, I'm not entering, right? It's impossible in 1st place, right?
If I just have a Mushroom, well, 1st place...
I'll keep it just in case of a Blue Shell.
Rather than aiming for a horn from here,
I think it's better to dash if a Blue Shell comes, or change it to a Green Shell if a Red Shell comes. And, with King Boo,
can't I see the front very well?
MK is having a lot of trouble because I can't see the front. Sorry, can't you adjust the camera a bit? Uh,
anyway,
It's quite far away, so it should be fine not to worry too much. Let's enter the dash panel here. And, well, for now, let's place a dash panel behind us too.
If we do this,
well, well, well, red shells are generally easier to get hit by than throwing items, so we'll focus on defending against red shells. And
accelerating once like this, it doesn't turn much, King Boo, a little
I could have picked it up yesterday or in the middle, but it might have been more certain to do it while using a Mini-Turbo or something so I wouldn't get caught. No, something like this jump ramp
is easy for a heavyweight, isn't it? Wait, am I flying too much?
Look behind, eh.
Is it okay to talk about this?
If you do that,
it's a heavyweight, right? If I can get through the first half in survival,
it's seriously the strongest heavyweight. But really, you know, you can hear things behind you, but for heavyweights, it's the end.
Eh, a little, is that
possible? Did you see that just now? I didn't notice the Boo stealing the green shell the moment I got it. Well, a little
a little, the red shell is over, but what did you say MK-san did just now? It's not coming.
No way, at such a perfect timing? No, no, no, no, I had countermeasures in place. So, for the next gate, somehow, is it one?
Well, I said it wouldn't be a big deal if just one throwing item came, but it's better if it doesn't come, so don't come. Oh, wait, it's not a big deal at all.
え
Eh.
It's coming right behind me.
Oh no, this is bad. Entering from here.
Couldn't get it with coins, 20 coins.
It's the process of pulling away again, but if another one comes,
this section is impossible, right? Eh.
What should I do?
Sorry, if I don't pull away a bit more, it might be really bad. Uh, Super Horn.
Pulling it?
That's right, let's come to pull the Super Horn once. Otherwise, the future will be the worst.
The worst combination. This, you know, the Coin Box
has been out for about half a year since it started appearing in 1st place.
This 1st
place, when you get a double, the probability of not getting a defensive item is crazy, right? Yes, so, well, well, well, well, I got a green shell, but
is this a bit bad?
No, let's exchange this once too. Yes, now. Oh, you're saying stop it with that combination, right?
あ
Ah.
It's good that I got a green shell once, but why
is this happening? For now, well, well, I can use it, right? With this, uh, here, one more
but, a little, throwing here next
Isn't this section super long? Look at the map on the right. And it's super straight.
In such straight places, the heavyweight's movement might be active, but wait, what was that straight thing? Straight road.
Is it that straight? Uh, just like this,
I'll pull away behind, but even so,
are you quite used to it?
It feels like the gap is widening again, but oh, did I get a dash panel?
That's right, here.
Forcibly, that's the worst, why didn't I go? And coins.
This is a bit bad.
Even with this red shell,
it's quite not good, but really, stop with the red shell. No, I wanted a dash panel just now. Uh, exchanging here while entering,
this, seriously, well,
well, well, well, well,
is the Super Horn okay?
I think I can survive this if it's just once, the melting ice.
Personally, I think it's a bit suspicious though.
No, I'm definitely going to swap it.
I really have to use the horn here, no, seriously, if the melting ice flies over, it's over. That dash panel is definitely...
I can take it. Mother is unavoidable. The melting ice after the thunder is, ugh, the worst. But it's okay to take it once. I'll dodge with the dash panel here, it's fine, oh no.
Oh no, wait, I left it behind. Ah, if a red shell comes, it's over.
If a red shell comes, it's over, but it hasn't come yet. Ah, it didn't. Wait, I wanted to go up to swap, but...
I've fallen down a bit. Wait, it's a mirror, right? Ah, then it's good I didn't go up. Wait, it's a mirror, so if I went up now, it would be over. Wait, wait, that means what? This way? This way?
No, wait, the known course is harder. Mirror is like this, yes, like this.
来きて
Coming.
Next, uh, this way? This way? Wait, it was the opposite of what I thought. Ah, that was close, that was close.
Please, really stop.
I'm quite far away, though.
Even so, it's scary, uh.
I can't double here, at this point...
Something like that is really the worst. As expected, it flies over here, right? I don't think it will come from here, it won't.
Phew, that last part was dangerous, Mr. M.K.
There were mistakes, and I was also
tossed around by the square cannibal, but yes, somehow I think I got three stars with this, and
from here, let's run the three retro courses we couldn't run in the previous rounds, Mario Circuit 1.
三さん
3.
This is Chocolate 1, and uh, Koopa Beach 1.
I ran 1, so the rest are Chocolate 2, Ghost Valley 3, and Vanilla Lake 3.
Courses, let's do them.
I'm kind of looking forward to it, but for these tight-turning stages, King Boo...
A little.
I don't feel like I'm very good at them.
Even so, let's see what happens if I use a heavyweight. Then, I'll go with a solo VS race as is, with King Boo and the Shooting Star. Might as well, right? And uh, set the computer to strong, choose the course, 150cc individual race, and of course, all items on. So, first, let's go to Chocolate 2. Well, it's a place I've run in PS1,
but it's the first time running with items and rankings properly.
I honestly don't really know the difference between Chocolate 1 and 2, Mr. M.K.
Ah, then I understood. Ah, I understood, I understood. I understood the difference in location. But I don't understand the difference in the course shape at all. For now,
well, it's quite long, so collect coins.
For the three types, it's a bit like a tree or delivery, but here, it won't give me a mushroom. Tree 1.
Wait, the question mark pad, ah, is it also on this path?
So, uh, I'll take this, and the question is where to use the mushroom. There might be a feather or a feather shortcut.
For now, here.
Use the mushroom for a shortcut.
There might be a feather shortcut.
What should I do?
Where should I use it?
Uh, for now, uh.
Wait.
待まて
There's a left side.
There's a rail. Probably, ugh, is this a place for a feather shortcut? One place, ah.
It's one place, but.
I don't know, and uh.
For now, while picking up coins.
No, it's the place from before, if I'm going to do it.
Like here, it's a bit before, right? Depth, that's right.
In terms of curves, the sharpest one, or not the sharpest, the one that seems to have the shortest distance was the next curve, so I want to go there, and
If possible, wait a second here.
Left side, oh wait wait wait wait, hold on, let me redo this, let's use the feather.
Hey, okay like this. I knew the M.K. rail was there, so I wanted to get those three coins, but I ended up using a rewind, yes.
I managed to make it happen. I panicked with the rewind and got the feather too, but uh...
It wasn't a one, was it? Just now.
Scary, wait, I should be careful about weird rewinds. Anyway, for now, this is the fourth lap, and the next part is dangerous because of Daisy behind me.
I'm going to get hit by a lot of blue shells and get passed.
I really have to be careful about that, but man, this rolling, rolling, straight shell rolling...
くる
Coming.
I really wish you'd stop that.
This is bad, King Boo and Daisy are...
Wait, wait, it's really because of you that I'm spinning around. Uh, the blue shell just flew in, but anyway, let's keep going with B.J.M.
There's that P.P.P.P. thing, right? Super fiction, wait, wait.
Daisy is coming from behind, you know.
No, it's the same Daisy I used last time. And also, uh, here, oh, no feather?
I wanted to use a feather here. And seriously, watch out for the straight shell. Seriously, I have no choice but to go like this. If a blue shell comes, I'm sorry. Uh...
No, no, I don't really want to come to this far place, but isn't it common to take Daisy's shortcut? Like this, it's dangerous.
Dangerous, dangerous, dangerous, oh, yes.
一いち
One.
I was able to pass, but...
I didn't have much leeway. After all, I'm not very good with heavyweights on stages with so many curves.
Well, even if I say that, I have no choice but to do it. So next, well, speaking of King Boo, it's the ghost one, right?
Here, well, one, two, three are lined up, that, what is it, the Boo Cinema, what was it? Ghost Cinema?
No, it's not that, it's before the Ghost Cinema.
It's this spot, but the far right side? Let's do our best, both of us. Are there any shortcuts?
The Ghost Swamp last time was full of shortcuts, so I'd like to look for some, yes.
Got the mushroom for the first win. Hmm, no, I can't go now.
It looks like I could go for a second, no, I can't. That part definitely has a collision detection.
I think, but what about that tree there?
I don't know, it doesn't look like it.
Is there any shortcut?
Yeah, one and two are easy to understand. Like a feather shortcut. And then, well, don't show up too much.
I'll go in front. And I have to rely on my own skill. But wait, if I was just driving normally, didn't Daisy almost get me just now?
Is there something? Is Daisy using something? By any chance?
Just M.K. right now.
It's me, right? No way.
あれ
Huh?
That's not it.
I don't really understand why I was about to be overtaken by Daisy earlier.
In a place like this, it seems like I could force my way through with a feather. If I hit that pole.
No, but I don't know. That, like, the bottom...
What is that gap-like thing? Oh, does this mean it's okay to fall into this gap? So, conversely, I shouldn't go outside of it. Yeah, that's right. Even with a mushroom, going under...
No, there's no way to go up, right?
I think there will be a falling judgment.
So, just like this.
I'll block the red shell with this green one, and if a blue shell comes, I'll use a mushroom. Let's go with that. By the way, it was like that earlier, and I thought so during survival too.
It's become harder to get lightning, hasn't it? In the update, no, that's not it.
I feel like the amount of lightning has decreased.
What could it be? I feel like the amount of blue shells has clearly decreased.
Has the lightning decreased too? That means I feel like it's becoming a game where it's very strong to get ahead and run away, but, uh, 24th place.
I can see it now. Is it Mario? Or Baby Mario? Oh, it's Baby Mario.
ね
Right?
He was just big because of the Mega Mushroom earlier, so, yes, this is the final lap. Since it's the end, I'll do something like this.
Since we're here, we have to do it, right?
とこう
Like this.
いや
No.
As soon as I mention lightning, lightning strikes.
って
That's...
Luigi is coming up, but this is 24th place.
When you get around here, you get caught up in these guys' powerful items.
I hate that. Stop it.
You guys, using Mega Mushrooms and Bullet Bills on me just like that...
A Bullet Bill would be cute, but hurry up and go, Bullet Bill.
At the end, just a little interference. Yes, I'm being malicious, didn't I hit you with the wind?
I thought I hit you, you accelerated and melted away. Yes, so I was able to take first place in Ghost Valley 3. Man, Daisy is fast. Huh?
Is there some kind of red course speed...
Correction or something? And the last one is Ice Building.
Right, we're doing Vanilla Lake. It's quite slippery here, so it's really not suited for a two-seater, but since we're here, it can't be helped. Here we go. Oh, there's a dash panel.
No, what should I do? Maybe I shouldn't go to the upper half.
The upper half...
If possible, I don't want to go around the outside.
Just like this, yes, rubbing against the power panel, two, three, and a mushroom.
Mushroom, mushroom. Oh, one mushroom? There are two dash panels.
I'll take this dash panel. Maybe it's faster to pull off a shortcut? Or maybe not? Here, yes.
Using it, I'm catching up.
No, because that power panel should have been done in two. Now that I'm here, it can't be helped. No, that's quite far on the outside. That dash panel...
I'm going to take it.
I feel like if I take the shortcut on the inside, it'll be about that much, but with my skills...
I don't really feel that way. Also, wait a minute, I'm not collecting enough coins.
Well, okay, okay here.
I have to use the item coins properly too. This is...
Got a feather. I'll use the feather to take a shortcut in the air first.
Isn't that fine? Wait, I've already left it behind, haven't I?
A bit of a Mii-san, stupid Vanilla Lake. And about these 10 red courses, actually, I've also come to Time Attack. Before the Mii-san course, in Time Attack...
You were doing it, right? And this time 10 courses were added.
I'm planning to do it, but should we do it in the next update? Because this time 10...
Courses were added, and next time...
Something like...
A major addition or something?
I think there might be, so I'd like to do the Time Attack for these retro courses at the same time as the next survival addition. So everyone, please keep that in mind. While I'm saying that, yes, it's a ball.
So, for now, let's end it at Part 8 and wait for the next update.
Once the new rally is added,
That plus the retro course Time Attack will be done from Part 9.
I wonder when the next one will be. Will I have to wait about half a year? I'd be happy if it came out in about 3 months.
Well, let's end it here for now. So, next time, I'll do it as soon as the update is out.
