Yeah, yeah, like pulling someone's leg, they say. But compared to what we've talked about so far, this one is pretty easy to understand, right? Yeah, it means exactly what the words say. Um, pulling someone's leg means... what is it... getting in someone's way, something like that. That's right. Yeah, pulling someone's leg means getting in their way, you know. Yeah, and things like "that person is holding us back," you know. Like "that person is the one delaying the work," you know. They use it like that. Um, how about it? Do you hear this often? Yeah, um, you really hear it a lot. At companies, and maybe in sports teams too. That's right. When everyone is doing something together, um, it's used a lot. Yeah, we're both freelancers, so we don't really work in teams much. Um, so we don't really have that kind of experience. Well, that's true. Um, not really. But when we hear from other people, we do hear things like "there's someone holding us back, you know." Yeah, it comes up a lot in conversations. "That person is really holding us back," you know, we hear that a lot. It's like that. But since we all live together, differences are bound to arise, I think. Um, people do say it, as an expression. Yeah, um, but there are two types. Um, people who are intentionally holding others back, and um, people who are trying their best but end up holding others back. There are. People who intentionally get in the way, like doing annoying things on purpose. Um, there are people who get in the way. But not like that, there are people who are doing their best, really trying hard, but end up holding others back. Yeah, that's a difficult one. It is difficult. Well, but both end up being the same expression. Yeah, "holding someone back" is a pretty negative expression, isn't it? Negative, like it gives the image that someone is doing something really bad. Yes, it does. But even in terms of the actual meaning, it's a negative expression. Yeah, that's right. The actual meaning too. Um.
