「あるいは会議や面接、新しい同僚に自分の役割を説明する必要があるかもしれません。」

さて、ティナ、準備はできたと思うよ。
Me too.
私もよ。
Let's get started.
始めましょう。
So, Tina, how are you today?
それで、ティナ、今日は元気？
I'm doing well, thank you.
元気よ、ありがとう。
I'm a little tired though because I had a busy morning.
でも今朝は忙しかったから少し疲れているの。
I answered messages, organized my notes, and made a plan for the week.
メッセージに返信して、メモを整理して、今週の計画を立てたの。
How about you?
あなたはどう？
I'm good, but a bit slow today.
僕は元気だけど、今日はちょっと動きが鈍いな。
I drank coffee, but I think I need one more cup.
コーヒーを飲んだけど、もう一杯必要だと思う。
One more?
もう一杯？
How many cups do you usually drink?
普段は何杯飲むの？
Usually two.
普段は2杯だよ。
Sometimes three.
時々3杯。
On very serious days, I look at the coffee and say, "Please do your job." That's funny.
本当に大変な日には、コーヒーを見て「お願いだから仕事をして」と言うんだ。それは面白いね。
So, coffee also has responsibilities.
つまり、コーヒーにも責任があるんだね。
Exactly.
その通り。
Coffee.
コーヒーは。
has an important role in my life.
私の人生で重要な役割を果たしているの。
I can see that.
それは分かるよ。
What did you do this weekend?
週末は何をしたの？
On Saturday, I cleaned my desk and organized some old work files.
土曜日は机を掃除して、古い仕事のファイルを整理したの。
I know that sounds boring, but I actually like doing that.
つまらなそうに聞こえるのは分かっているけど、実はそういう作業が好きなの。
It helps me feel calm.
落ち着いた気持ちになれるの。
Really?
本当に？
I tried to organize my desk too, but then I found an old notebook, started reading it, and forgot to clean anything.
僕も机を整理しようとしたんだけど、古いノートを見つけて読み始めてしまって、結局何も片付けなかったよ。
That sounds very typical.
それはとてもあなたらしいね。
Yes, I started with a plan and ended with memories.
はい、計画から始めて、思い出で終わりました。
What was in the notebook?
ノートには何が書いてあったの？
Old to-do lists, and the funny thing is, some unfinished tasks were still very relatable.
古いToDoリストで、おかしなことに、未完了のタスクの中には今でもとても共感できるものがありました。
I read one line that said, "Reply to emails." That job responsibility never ends.
「メールに返信する」と書かれた一行を読んだのですが、その仕事の責任は永遠に終わりませんね。
That is true for many people.
それは多くの人に当てはまりますね。
What about Sunday?
日曜日はどうでしたか？
On Sunday, I met a friend for lunch.
日曜日に、友達とランチで会いました。
She recently started a new job, so we talked a lot about work.
彼女は最近新しい仕事を始めたので、仕事についてたくさん話しました。
She was trying to explain her job responsibilities in English because her company is international.
会社が国際的なので、彼女は自分の職務を英語で説明しようとしていました。
Oh, that's a perfect connection to today's topic.
ああ、それは今日のトピックにぴったりのつながりですね。
Yes, exactly.
はい、その通りです。
She said, "I know what I do, but I don't know how to explain it clearly in English." I think a lot of learners feel the same way.
彼女は「自分が何をしているかは分かるけど、英語で明確に説明する方法が分からない」と言っていました。多くの学習者が同じように感じていると思います。
Even simple questions like "What do you do?
「あなたは何をしているの？」のような簡単な質問でさえ、
" can feel difficult.
「難しく感じることがある。」
That's true.
それは本当ですね。
Speaking of work and explaining what you do, that takes us right into today's lesson.
仕事のことや、自分のしていることを説明することと言えば、今日のレッスンにぴったりつながりますね。
Yes.
はい。
Today, we're going to help you talk naturally about your job responsibilities in English.
今日は、英語で自分の職務について自然に話せるようにお手伝いします。
So let's move to the main conversation.
では、メインの会話に移りましょう。
Okay, Leo.
わかりました、レオ。
Let's start with the most basic question.
まず一番基本的な質問から始めましょう。
If someone asks, "What do you do?
もし誰かに「あなたは何をしているの？
", how can you answer?
」と聞かれたら、どう答えられますか？
I think the simplest answer is to say your job title first.
一番シンプルな答えは、まず職名を言うことだと思います。
For example, I'm a teacher.
例えば、私は教師です。
I'm an office worker, or I work in marketing.
私は会社員です、またはマーケティングで働いています。
Exactly.
その通りです。
That's the first step.
それが第一歩です。
Then, after that, you can explain your responsibilities.
それから、その後に職務を説明できます。
For example, I'm a teacher.
例えば、私は教師です。
I prepare lessons, teach students, and check homework.
授業を準備し、生徒に教え、宿題をチェックします。
So first, job title.
つまりまず、職名。
Then daily tasks.
それから日常の業務。
Yes, that's the easiest structure.
はい、それが一番簡単な構成です。
What if someone doesn't know my job title?
もし相手が私の職名を知らなかったらどうしますか？
Should I explain more?
もっと説明すべきですか？
Definitely.
もちろんです。
For example, you can say, "I work in customer service.
例えば、「私はカスタマーサービスで働いています。
I answer customer questions, solve problems, and help people with orders." That's very clear.
お客様の質問に答え、問題を解決し、注文のお手伝いをしています」と言えます。とても明確ですね。
I like that it uses simple verbs.
シンプルな動詞を使っているのがいいですね。
Yes.
はい。
Simple verbs are the key.
シンプルな動詞が鍵です。
You don't need long or difficult sentences.
長くて難しい文は必要ありません。
You can say, "I write reports." I answer emails.
「レポートを書きます」と言えます。「メールに返信します。」
I talk to clients.
「クライアントと話します。」
I manage schedules.
「スケジュールを管理します。」
I check documents.
「書類をチェックします。」
I think learners often try to sound too advanced.
学習者はしばしば高度に聞こえるようにしすぎようとすることがあると思います。
That's true, but simple English is often better, especially when you want to be clear.
その通りですが、シンプルな英語の方が良いことも多いです、特に明確に伝えたいときはね。
So let's talk about useful phrases.
では、役立つフレーズについて話しましょう。
One very common phrase is "I'm responsible for." Right?
とてもよく使われるフレーズの一つに "I'm responsible for" がありますよね？
Exactly.
その通りです。
That's one of the best phrases for this topic.
このトピックには最適なフレーズの一つです。
For example, I'm responsible for answering emails, or I'm responsible for the weekly report.
例えば、I'm responsible for answering emails や I'm responsible for the weekly report です。
Wait, what does "responsible for" mean exactly?
ちょっと待って、"responsible for" は正確にはどういう意味ですか？
Good question.
良い質問ですね。
It means something is your duty or your job to handle.
それは、何かがあなたの義務や担当の仕事であるという意味です。
If you are responsible for something, it means you need to take care of it.
何かに responsible であるということは、それを処理する必要があるという意味です。
So if I say I'm responsible for social media, it means that social media work is part of my job.
だから、ソーシャルメディアを担当していると言えば、それが仕事の一部だという意味になります。
Yes, exactly.
はい、その通りです。
That's a really useful phrase.
それは本当に便利なフレーズですね。
I hear it a lot in work conversations and job interviews.
仕事の会話や面接でよく聞きます。
Yes.
はい。
Another great phrase is my main responsibilities include.
もう一つの素晴らしいフレーズは my main responsibilities include です。
Then you list two or three important tasks.
その後に2つか3つの重要な業務を挙げます。
For example, my main responsibilities include meeting clients, writing reports, and organizing schedules.
例えば、my main responsibilities include meeting clients, writing reports, and organizing schedules です。
Perfect.
完璧です。
That sounds natural and professional.
自然でプロフェッショナルに聞こえます。
What if I want to talk about what I do every day?
毎日の仕事内容について話したい場合はどうすればいいですか？
Then you can use simple routine phrases like every day I check my emails first, or I usually start my day by reviewing my task list.
その場合は、every day I check my emails first や I usually start my day by reviewing my task list のようなシンプルな習慣のフレーズが使えます。
Reviewing sounds a little more formal than just looking at.
Reviewing は単に looking at と言うより少しフォーマルに聞こえますね。
Yes, it does.
はい、そうですね。
Review means to look at something carefully.
Review は何かを注意深く見るという意味です。
For example, I review the schedule every morning.
例えば、I review the schedule every morning です。
So I can say every morning I review my calendar and reply to urgent emails.
だから、every morning I review my calendar and reply to urgent emails と言えますね。
Exactly, that's a very strong sentence.
その通り、とてもしっかりした文です。
Honestly, that sounds more organized than my real morning.
正直に言うと、それは私の実際の朝よりもしっかりしているように聞こえます。
What does your real morning look like?
あなたの実際の朝はどんな感じですか？
Well, first I open my computer, then I look at my emails, then I get a little stressed, then I make coffee, then I look at my emails again.
ええと、まずパソコンを開けて、それからメールを見て、それから少しストレスを感じて、それからコーヒーを入れて、それからまたメールを見るんです。
That is also realistic workplace English.
それもまたリアルな職場英語ですね。
Thank you.
ありがとうございます。
I try to represent real people.
リアルな人々を表現しようとしているんです。
Very important work, Leo.
とても重要な仕事ですね、レオ。
So if I want to describe that in a better way, I could say I start my day by checking messages, replying to emails, and planning my tasks.
だから、それをもっと良く表現したいなら、I start my day by checking messages, replying to emails, and planning my tasks と言えますね。
Yes, that's clear and natural.
はい、それは明確で自然です。
Let's talk about different kinds of job responsibilities.
いろいろな種類の職務について話しましょう。
Some people work with people, some work with numbers, some work with files or products.
人と関わって働く人もいれば、数字を扱う人、ファイルや製品を扱う人もいます。
That's a great point.
それは素晴らしい指摘ですね。
So let's break it down.
では、分解してみましょう。
If you work with people, you might say, I talk to customers, I support clients, I help team members, or I lead meetings.
人と関わって働くなら、I talk to customers、I support clients、I help team members、または I lead meetings と言えるかもしれません。
If you work with numbers, maybe you say, I prepare budgets, I check sales data, or I track expenses.
数字を扱うなら、I prepare budgets、I check sales data、または I track expenses と言うかもしれません。
Yes, and if you work with documents, you can say, I prepare reports, I update records, I organize files, or I review contracts.
はい、そして書類を扱うなら、I prepare reports、I update records、I organize files、または I review contracts と言えます。
Oh, update records sounds very useful.
おお、update records はとても役立ちそうですね。
It is.
そうですよ。
Update means to add new information or make something current.
Update とは、新しい情報を加えたり、最新の状態にしたりすることです。
For example, I update customer records every day.
例えば、I update customer records every day.
Wait, what does current mean here?
ちょっと待って、ここでの current ってどういう意味？
Current means up to date, not old.
Current とは最新の、古くないという意味です。
If information is current, it is correct for now.
情報が current であれば、今の時点で正しいということです。
I see.
なるほど。
So if I update a file, I make it current.
だからファイルを update すれば、それを current にするということですね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
Okay.
わかりました。
What about people who manage projects?
プロジェクトを管理する人はどうですか？
Then they can say, I manage timelines.
その場合は、I manage timelines と言えます。
I coordinate with different teams.
I coordinate with different teams.
I follow up on tasks, and I make sure projects stay on schedule.
I follow up on tasks, and I make sure projects stay on schedule.
Coordinate is a good word.
Coordinate はいい言葉ですね。
What does it mean?
どういう意味ですか？
Coordinate means organize people or tasks so they work well together.
Coordinate とは、人やタスクをうまく連携できるように整理することです。
For example, I coordinate meetings between the sales and design teams.
例えば、I coordinate meetings between the sales and design teams.
Ah, so it's about bringing things together in a smooth way.
ああ、物事をスムーズにまとめることなんですね。
Yes, exactly.
はい、その通りです。
Okay.
わかりました。
Let's do a simple example.
簡単な例をやってみましょう。
Imagine I'm talking to a new coworker.
新しい同僚と話していると想像してください。
They ask, What do you usually do here?
彼らが、What do you usually do here? と聞いてきます。
What can I say?
何と言えますか？
You can say I mostly handle communication with clients.
I mostly handle communication with clients と言えます。
I answer their questions, give updates, and solve small problems.
I answer their questions, give updates, and solve small problems.
That's good.
それはいいですね。
Or maybe I work with the marketing team.
あるいは、I work with the marketing team とか。
I write content, schedule posts, and check performance data.
I write content, schedule posts, and check performance data.
Perfect.
完璧です。
That sounds natural and clear.
自然で分かりやすく聞こえますね。
I think mostly is a nice word there.
そこの mostly という言葉はいいと思います。
It means for the most part, right?
それは for the most part という意味ですよね？
Yes, it means usually or mainly.
はい、usually または mainly という意味です。
If you say I mostly work with emails and reports, it means those are the biggest parts of your job.
I mostly work with emails and reports と言えば、それらが仕事の大部分だという意味になります。
Good.
いいですね。
That feels useful when your job has many small tasks.
仕事に小さなタスクがたくさんあるときに役立ちそうです。
Exactly.
その通りです。
Another helpful phrase is a big part of my job is.
もう一つの便利なフレーズは a big part of my job is です。
For example, a big part of my job is talking to suppliers.
例えば、私の仕事の大きな部分は仕入先と話すことです。
Or a big part of my job is solving customer problems.
あるいは、私の仕事の大きな部分は顧客の問題を解決することです。
Yes, that's an easy phrase to remember.
はい、それは覚えやすいフレーズですね。
What if my job changes depending on the day?
もし私の仕事が日によって変わる場合はどうですか？
Then you can say my.
それなら「my」と言えます。
tasks change from day to day, or it depends on the day.
タスクは日によって変わります、または日によります、と。
You can also say, some days I spend more time in meetings, and other days I focus on reports.
「会議により多くの時間を費やす日もあれば、レポートに集中する日もある」と言うこともできます。
I like that because many jobs are not exactly the same every day.
多くの仕事は毎日まったく同じではないので、それが気に入っています。
Very true.
まさにその通りです。
For example, in some jobs, Monday is very busy with planning, while Friday is more about finishing tasks and sending updates.
例えば、ある仕事では、月曜日は計画でとても忙しく、金曜日はタスクを終わらせたり最新情報を送ったりすることが中心になります。
That's interesting.
それは面白いですね。
So if someone asks me, what does a normal day look like for you?
だから、もし誰かに「あなたの普段の一日はどんな感じですか？」と聞かれたら、
I can answer with a time order.
時間の順番で答えることができますね。
Yes, that's a very good way to explain responsibilities.
はい、それは責任を説明するのにとても良い方法です。
For example, I usually start at 9 a.m.
例えば、私は通常午前9時に始めます。
First, I check emails and messages.
まず、メールやメッセージをチェックします。
Then I review my task list.
それから、タスクリストを確認します。
After that, I work on reports or attend meetings.
その後、レポートに取り組んだり、会議に出席したりします。
That's a great structure: beginning, middle, and.
それは素晴らしい構成ですね：始め、中間、そして。
Exactly.
その通りです。
Let's build a full answer together.
一緒に完全な答えを作りましょう。
Okay, maybe I work in administration.
わかりました、例えば私は事務の仕事をしているとします。
I usually start at eight thirty.
私は通常8時30分に始めます。
First, I check emails and answer urgent messages.
まず、メールをチェックして緊急のメッセージに返信します。
Then I update files, prepare documents, and support my team with daily tasks.
それから、ファイルを更新し、書類を準備し、日々の業務でチームをサポートします。
In the afternoon, I often join meetings and follow up on unfinished work.
午後は、よく会議に参加し、未完了の仕事のフォローアップをします。
That is excellent, Leo.
それは素晴らしいですよ、レオ。
Really, I sound very professional.
本当ですか、とてもプロフェッショナルに聞こえますね。
You do.
ええ、その通りです。
I should record that and send it to myself.
それを録音して自分に送るべきですね。
Please do.
ぜひそうしてください。
What about talking about responsibility level?
責任のレベルについて話すのはどうですか？
Like sometimes you're not just doing tasks.
例えば、ただタスクをこなすだけではない場合とか。
Sometimes you're in charge of something.
時には何かを担当していることもありますよね。
Yes, that's very important.
はい、それはとても重要です。
You can say I'm in charge of.
「〜を担当している」と言うことができます。
For example, I'm in charge of the monthly report, or I'm in charge of training new staff.
例えば、月次レポートを担当しています、とか、新入社員の研修を担当しています、などです。
Wait, is "in charge of" similar to "responsible for"?
ちょっと待ってください、「in charge of」は「responsible for」と似ていますか？
Yes, they're similar, but "in charge of" can feel a little stronger.
はい、似ていますが、「in charge of」の方が少し強く感じられます。
It often means you lead that area or have more control over it.
それは多くの場合、その分野をリードしている、またはより強い管理権を持っていることを意味します。
So if I say I'm in charge of the team schedule, it sounds like I make the plan or manage it.
だから、チームのスケジュールを担当していると言えば、私が計画を立てたり管理したりしているように聞こえるのですね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
That's a useful difference.
それは役に立つ違いですね。
Another good phrase is "I take care of." This is common in spoken English.
もう一つの良い表現は「I take care of（〜の対応をしています）」です。これは話し言葉の英語でよく使われます。
For example, "I take care of client emails" or "I take care of office supplies." Oh, that's nice.
例えば、「I take care of client emails（顧客メールの対応をしています）」や「I take care of office supplies（事務用品の管理をしています）」などです。ああ、いいですね。
It sounds natural and not too formal.
自然に聞こえて、堅苦しすぎません。
Yes, it works well in everyday conversations, but in interviews, "I'm responsible for" or "I manage" may sound a bit stronger.
はい、日常会話ではとてもよく使えますが、面接では「I'm responsible for（〜を担当しています）」や「I manage（〜を管理しています）」の方が少し力強く聞こえるかもしれません。
Good point.
良い指摘ですね。
So we can choose a phrase based on the situation.
状況に応じて表現を選べるということですね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
Let's talk about meetings.
会議について話しましょう。
Many people have responsibilities related to meetings.
多くの人が会議に関する責任を持っています。
What can they say?
何と言えますか？
They can say, "I organize meetings," "I attend team meetings," "I take notes during meetings," or "I give updates on project progress."
「I organize meetings（会議を企画します）」「I attend team meetings（チーム会議に出席します）」「I take notes during meetings（会議中にメモを取ります）」や「I give updates on project progress（プロジェクトの進捗を報告します）」と言えます。
Give updates is useful.
Give updates（進捗を報告する）は便利ですね。
That's a phrase many learners need.
それは多くの学習者が必要とする表現です。
Yes, it means to share new information about work.
はい、それは仕事についての新しい情報を共有するという意味です。
For example, every Monday I give updates on my tasks.
例えば、毎週月曜日に自分のタスクについて報告します。
So I can say, "Part of my job is giving updates to my manager." Perfect.
だから「Part of my job is giving updates to my manager（仕事の一部は上司への報告です）」と言えますね。完璧です。
And what about if I help new employees?
それで、新入社員を手伝う場合はどう言えばいいですか？
Then you can say, "
その場合は、「と言えます。
I train new staff," "I help new team members learn the system," or "I support new employees during their first week." That sounds nice.
「I train new staff（新入社員を教育します）」「I help new team members learn the system（新しいチームメンバーがシステムを学ぶのを手伝います）」や「I support new employees during their first week（新入社員の最初の1週間をサポートします）」と言えます。いい響きですね。
It shows responsibility and teamwork.
責任感とチームワークを示していますね。
Yes, it also sounds good in interviews.
はい、面接でも好印象です。
What if I work in sales?
営業で働いている場合はどうですか？
Then you might say, I talk to customers, explain our products, answer questions, and close sales.
その場合は、I talk to customers, explain our products, answer questions, and close sales（お客様と話し、商品を説明し、質問に答え、販売を成立させます）と言うかもしれません。
Wait, what does close sales mean?
ちょっと待って、close sales とはどういう意味ですか？
It means complete the sale.
販売を成立させるという意味です。
The customer decides to buy, and the process finishes successfully.
お客様が購入を決めて、プロセスが無事に完了することです。
Ah, okay.
ああ、わかりました。
So if someone works in sales, they can say, I help customers choose products and close sales.
つまり営業で働く人は、I help customers choose products and close sales（お客様の商品選びを手伝い、販売を成立させます）と言えるんですね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
And what about someone in human resources?
人事の人の場合はどうですか？
They can say, I help with hiring, interview candidates, prepare contracts, and support employees.
I help with hiring, interview candidates, prepare contracts, and support employees（採用を手伝い、候補者を面接し、契約書を作成し、従業員をサポートします）と言えます。
Nice.
いいですね。
And if someone is a manager?
マネージャーの場合はどうですか？
Then they might say, I lead a team, assign tasks, check progress, solve problems, and support my staff.
その場合は、I lead a team, assign tasks, check progress, solve problems, and support my staff（チームを率いて、仕事を割り振り、進捗を確認し、問題を解決し、スタッフをサポートします）と言うかもしれません。
Assign tasks is a good phrase.
Assign tasks（仕事を割り振る）は良い表現ですね。
Yes, assign means give work to someone.
はい、assign は誰かに仕事を与えるという意味です。
For example, my manager assigns tasks every Monday morning.
例えば、私の上司は毎週月曜日の朝に仕事を割り振ります。
So if I'm a manager, I can say I assign tasks and make sure everyone knows their priorities.
だから自分がマネージャーなら、I assign tasks and make sure everyone knows their priorities（仕事を割り振り、全員が優先事項を把握できるようにします）と言えますね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
What if I don't manage people but I work independently?
人を管理していないけれど、独立して働いている場合はどうすればいいですか？
Then you can say I work independently most of the time, or I manage my own schedule and tasks.
その場合は「ほとんどの時間は独立して働いています」や「自分のスケジュールやタスクは自分で管理しています」と言えます。
That's important too.
それも重要です。
Not every job is very team-based.
すべての仕事がチーム中心というわけではありません。
Right.
そうですね。
Some people mostly work alone.
主に一人で働く人もいます。
They can say I work on reports, analyze data, and send results to my team.
そういう人は「レポートを作成し、データを分析して、結果をチームに送ります」と言えます。
Analyze is a little more advanced, but still common.
Analyze は少し高度ですが、それでも一般的です。
Yes, analyze means to study something carefully to understand it.
はい、analyze は何かを注意深く調べて理解するという意味です。
For example, I analyze customer feedback, or I analyze sales numbers.
例えば、「顧客のフィードバックを分析します」や「売上数値を分析します」などです。
That's useful.
それは役に立ちますね。
Okay, what if someone wants to explain not only what they do, but how often they do it?
さて、自分が何をしているかだけでなく、どれくらいの頻度でしているかを説明したい場合はどうすればいいですか？
Then use time phrases.
その場合は時間を表すフレーズを使います。
For example, every day I, once a week I, usually, often, sometimes, and at the end of the month.
例えば、「毎日〜します」「週に一度〜します」「たいてい」「よく」「時々」「月末に」などです。
So I can say every day I answer emails, once a week I prepare a report, at the end of the month I review our results.
だから「毎日メールに返信します、週に一度レポートを作成します、月末に結果を確認します」と言えるんですね。
Exactly.
その通りです。
That makes your explanation more detailed.
そうすると説明がより詳しくなります。
I think that's where many learners improve—not just saying the task, but also saying when or how often.
多くの学習者が上達するのはそこだと思います。単に仕事を言うだけでなく、いつ、どれくらいの頻度でするかを言うことです。
That's true.
その通りです。
It makes your English sound more complete.
英語がより完成されたように聞こえます。
Let's talk about job interviews for a moment.
少し就職面接について話しましょう。
If someone says, "Tell me about your current responsibilities," what should the learner do?
「現在の職務内容について教えてください」と言われたら、学習者はどうすべきですか？
They should give a short, organized answer.
短く整理された答えを出すべきです。
Start with your role, then mention your main responsibilities, then add one or two details.
まず役割から始め、次に主な職務に触れ、それから1つか2つの詳細を加えます。
For example, I'm an administrative assistant.
例えば、「私は事務アシスタントです。」
My main responsibilities include managing schedules, preparing documents, and supporting the team.
「私の主な職務には、スケジュール管理、書類作成、チームのサポートが含まれます。」
I also organize meetings and communicate with clients.
「会議の手配や顧客との連絡も行っています。」
Yes, and it's not too long.
はい、そして長すぎません。
What if the person wants to sound more confident?
もっと自信を持って聞こえるようにしたい場合はどうすればいいですか？
Then they can use verbs like manage, coordinate, support, handle, prepare, and lead.
その場合は manage、coordinate、support、handle、prepare、lead のような動詞を使えます。
Strong verbs help.
力強い動詞が役立ちます。
I notice you keep using handle.
あなたが handle をよく使っているのに気づきました。

For example, I'm involved in project planning, or I'm involved in hiring decisions.
例えば「I'm involved in project planning（企画に関わっています）」や「I'm involved in hiring decisions（採用の決定に関わっています）」
So if I help with something but I'm not fully in charge, I can say I'm involved in.
だから、何かを手伝うけど完全な責任者ではない場合、「I'm involved in」と言えるんですね。

そうですね。
Some people write emails.
