Welcome back to a new video guys.
Today, I'm going to be packing up my stuff because I am moving out of my apartment.
So join me and learn English naturally through comprehensible input.
And that is to roll the suitcase.
I've spent about four months here.
The first month of a pair of ripped jeans, you can see these jeans are ripped, vacuum sealed.
That means all the air has been completely on my mind leaving a positive review because I would anyways.
A lot more organized than I am.
So these are sweatpants.
I've pretty much just come here to work.
So I just every single day my routine was there fake.
This is a knockoff.
My red bracelet that I've been wearing ever since that.
Let's get started.
You can see behind me, behind me, there are a lot of different items.
For example, here you have a suitcase.
A suitcase.
This suitcase has wheels on the bottom part of the suitcase and that is to roll the suitcase.
So once you stand the suitcase up, you can roll it.
Where do you normally roll a suitcase?
Can you give me a sentence?
You normally roll suitcases through airports.
So I normally roll my suitcase through the airport when I'm boarding my flight or when I'm going to board my flight.
Let's see what else we have behind me.
We have a lot of clothes.
We will go through each and every item.
This is one of my favorite pieces of clothing because it's so thick and heavy.
I love wearing Canada, but here in Vietnam, it's too heavy and too warm.
So I haven't worn it at all here.
This you can see is also a long sleeve, but it is a lot thinner than this one.
This one is very thick and heavy and warm.
This one is a lot cooler, a lot thinner and a lot lighter.
So this is better for warmer countries.
So I have been in Vietnam now for about four months, I would say.
And now we are moving out of our apartment here in Vietnam and going to another country.
Can you guys guess which country I'm going to next?
Let me know in the comments.
Anyway, let's fold this up and pack comments.
Anyway, let's fold this up and pack it in my suitcase.
So I just folded this up and now I'm going to pack it in here.
You can hear, it's raining outside right now and you can hear the thunder as well.
Currently, it is August here in Vietnam.
It is August and now I'm going to talk to you like my friend naturally.
So I've really enjoyed my time in Vietnam.
Like I said, I've spent about four months here.
The first month was with my mom.
We went to Hanoi and Hao Longbei and also Nin Bin.
It was very nice.
Like my mom really enjoyed Thailand.
She loved coffee.
We made a lot of videos so you can go check them out.
And I think she would definitely be back.
But we have been talking like on FaceTime and also just like messages.
And she said that she wants to go to India and China as well.
Because I have recently come back from China.
I went to Beijing with my older brother and China was beautiful too amazing.
I love the history, the architecture, the food, the people.
Everything is really amazing.
But I have never been to India and I think that is one of the countries I really want to visit soon.
But yeah, my mom has said she wants to go to India as well.
So maybe we'll plan a family trip and we'll go to India because I know my mom loves Indian food too and she cooks Indian food quite often.
I haven't lived at home in a couple of years but when I used to live at home, she made Indian food quite often.
But yeah, I have enjoyed my time in Vietnam.
Vietnam is a very nice country.
I like the chaos and the vibes of Vietnam.
I like drinking coffee on the street or drinking something on the street.
I like the small stools.
It's just a nice vibe I think.
And I like getting a grab scooter and just sitting at the back and just taking in the city and the scenery.
That's something I really enjoy.
I also liked Malaysia and Thailand because I also spent some time there.
Thailand is similar because you can also sit on the back of grab bikes and you can order taxi bikes.
But in Malaysia, you can't order like a bike or a scooter.
You can't order a scooter taxi.
It has to be only a car which is something I wish Malaysia had.
But yeah, I really like Thailand.
I really like Malaysia and now I'm in Vietnam.
Next country, let me know in the comments.
Give me your guesses where I'm going.
And if I had to rank them, I don't think I would be able to.
I love every country.
Every country has its own unique things.
It's really nice.
But I have enjoyed Vietnam a lot.
Vietnam is like a really, really nice country.
Let me know if you're from Vietnam.
Anyway, let's continue packing my stuff since I do have quite a bit.
So I'm not sure if you guys can see me way over here.
But this pile of clothes is my t shirts.
So you can see I have a pile of t shirts here.
Let me fold this one up again.
This pile is long sleeve shirts like this one.
This pile right here is my jeans.
My jeans.
This pile is my hoodies.
I also have a pair of ripped jeans.
You can see these jeans are ripped, but they're also baggy.
So they're baggy ripped jeans.
I remember when I was younger, I would say like probably 12 like in my early teens ripped jeans were like super popular,
but skinny ripped jeans skinny, but I do not wear anything skinny.
I don't wear any skinny jeans, but these are baggy, baggy ripped jeans.
I haven't really wore them that often because they are quite warm.
And Vietnam is like very warm.
Here's another long sleeve.
I'll put it there.
Here we have a muscle shirt.
Some people call this a wife beater.
I just call it a muscle shirt.
I think wife beater is a little bit of an odd name.
Here we have a pair of shorts, like a nice shirt, and also another long sleeve.
And this is my cologne case.
So I bought a cologne in Indonesia in Jakarta, and it came in here.
And I still have it because I like the case it came in.
It's like this nice gold cylinder.
I like the way that looks.
Also here, we have the silk bandanas I bought from China and also the silk pillowcase.
And this is something I wanted to show you guys.
Let me come closer.
This right here is silica gel, silica gel.
So I'm sure you guys have seen this a lot.
You might not recognize it because it's like this, but you often find in like packets of food, certain foods have this, for example, beef jerky.
If you buy like Jack Links or something, it has like a small version of this inside it.
And I believe that is just to take away the moisture and humidity.
I believe that's what it's used for.
You can correct me if I'm wrong.
But this package is vacuum sealed.
It is vacuum sealed.
That means all the air has been completely sucked out.
You can see the bag is very tight.
And they do that to like package it smaller and also to avoid getting any moisture or air in the package.
Anyway, let's open this up.
Where is the opening?
Because I know there's always a section where you can tear out right here.
So let's tear it.
There you go.
So this is what it looks like.
You can see these ones are big because I don't want to have like 100 of them in my suitcase.
I just want to have one.
So I'll put one in each of like my suitcases.
I think this is just a it's just a good thing to have.
It's really not necessary.
It's just a good thing to have if you're traveling or if you're going to have stuff in your suitcases.
Usually it's better if you're like storing stuff for longer.
And I will be storing this box right here.
So that's mainly why I bought it.
But might as well just put some of my suitcases as well since this is a human country.
But yeah, let's continue packing up my stuff.
I'm going to roll up my sleeves since it's hot.
And it has actually stopped raining.
That's another thing today.
I was out.
I was out at the gym and I was working out and I finished working out but then it just started pouring rain like so, so, so hard.
It was just absolutely pouring rain.
It was raining cats and dogs.
That just means it was raining a lot.
It was raining cats and dogs.
And I was waiting, waiting, waiting because it's about a 15 minute walk to my home.
So I was waiting till the rain stopped.
It wasn't stopping.
So I went to go book a like a grab and I didn't have my umbrella.
So I went to go book a taxi, but like a vehicle so that I didn't get wet.
And I tried to book it.
It said there are no drivers around.
And then the next second it just stopped raining.
It just stopped raining.
Boom.
Like not even any more rain.
It just completely stopped raining.
And I just was like, I've seen that before.
Maybe it's like that all the time here in Southeast Asia, but in Canada, it's like gradual.
It starts raining sometimes.
It could start raining fast and furious, just like boom immediately.
But then when it starts to like rain less and less, it's like gradual.
It's not like this is raining.
No rain.
That's how it was here.
It's more like a gradual decrease in rain.
So I was surprised when it just completely stopped raining.
And I was like, huh, then I just walked home.
But yeah, also I got this hat.
I don't know.
I just saw this.
So I thought I might as well talk about it.
But I got this hat for free when I bought not this shirt, but it's from the same brand as this shirt whenever all I had to do was leave a review.
So they're like, Oh, you leave a Google review and you can get a free hat.
So that's like a very normal thing.
A lot of companies and businesses do and usually I'm like, Oh no, I'm okay.
I'm okay.
But I actually I do like this brand whenever at Tilly.
I actually do like this brand.
I have like shorts from them, a t-shirt, this shirt and this hat.
So I do like this brand.
So when I said, Oh, review for a hat, I was like, you know what?
Actually, I do like this brand.
So I don't mind leaving a positive review because I would anyways and I get a free hat out of it.
Kobe.
Come on, bro.
It's a very bright red hat, which I like.
I like red.
Red is actually my favorite color.
You see that?
見える？
Red is my favorite color.
Let me know what is your favorite color.
What is your favorite color?
I love red.
And also what is your favorite number?
Oh, it's raining so hard now.
It's like, I can't even see.
But I also have a red bracelet because I love red.
Let me show you guys outside.
Like look.
It's absolutely pouring rain.
So the neighborhood we're in is Taoyuan, but we're moving out tomorrow.
But you can just see how hard it's raining.
And I have a little balcony here.
But yeah, a lot of expats live in this area.
That's just people that are from another country that come to work in a foreign country expats.
I'm sure there are also a lot of digital nomads, but I think digital nomads prefer to go to Da Nang Vietnam.
But yeah, I like Ho Chi Minh City because I just like being in a big city.
That's just my preference.
Anyway, let's start packing my bag here.
You guys can help me.
I think I should put this at the bottom or at the top.
I'll put it at the bottom.
I'll put it at the bottom.
Let's start by packing my t-shirts and my long sleeve shirts.
Start by packing the t-shirts and long sleeves.
And the strategy I'm going to use is just take it all and put it in like that.
I know some people are a lot more organized than I am and they'll fold everything nicely and they'll do all this stuff.
And usually I would do that too.
But I think in this case, I'm not going to because I have two cases.
I have another one on the ground there.
I have this big one here and I have a smaller carry-on suitcase.
And I don't think I need that much space.
And I'm also leaving stuff here in this storage container.
So whatever it doesn't fit, I'll just put it in there.
So I'm not really going to fold everything like a professional.
As I say that, I'm literally going to start folding.
I think that fits quite nicely.
Let's get some more.
Tell I think that fits quite nicely.
Let's get some more.
Tell me what's the last place you visited.
Maybe it was a neighboring city or a lake or the highlands.
The last place I visited was actually China.
I came back from China about a week ago.
So actually almost about two weeks ago, the last place I visited was Beijing, China.
And it was absolutely beautiful.
I love China so much.
I will definitely be back somewhere.
I really want to go in China is like Sichuan province.
I want to go to Chengdu, Chongqing, Xian, Kunming.
It's a city.
But yeah, let's start packing my jeans.
Oh yeah.
And at the bottom, I have a pair of my sweatpants here.
So these are sweatpants.
I feel like the suitcase is getting very full, very fast.
What do you guys think?
My brother is a lot more organized.
He likes having all his stuff in these packing cubes and all this stuff.
And I'm like, okay, yeah, it's good.
But I find when I use packing cubes, I can't fit as much stuff.
Because the packing cubes are rigid and they take up this much space.
But there's always a little bit of gap in between the packing cubes.
So I find when I just put it in free like this, I can really maximize the storage space and really fill it up nicely.
That's just my opinion.
Anyway, on this side of my suitcase here, here, let me push this over.
We have a bunch of snacks here.
And I actually made a video showing you all these snacks.
These are like souvenirs.
So if you guys would like to see that video where I show you every single snack and also show you a
Chinese grocery store when I was buying these snacks, then check out my video.
But anyway, back to what we were doing.
Let's keep packing.
I could fit some stuff there.
I'm sure you guys can probably tell but I don't really like packing that much.
I always keep it till the last minute and some people might find that annoying.
But when I first started traveling four years ago, I would say four years ago is when I really started traveling because that's when I went on
exchange to South Korea the first for the first time.
So when I first started traveling, I would pack my suitcase weeks and weeks in advance.
I would have everything.
I would have a list.
I would have a full list.
I would go through it, tick every box, make sure I had everything.
But now after four years of traveling, I feel like I just have experience.
So I don't need to pack weeks and weeks in advance and have a whole checklist to make sure I have everything.
I can just remember it in my head.
Be like, okay, I need all this stuff.
I have it.
Okay, we're good.
And I could just pack it the day before because tomorrow we're leaving.
So tomorrow we're checking out or I guess not checking out because this is not a hotel.
It's an apartment.
So tomorrow we're moving out of our apartment here.
I think Leon has pretty much finished packing his stuff as well.
And I'm just also finishing.
Yeah, this was a nice apartment.
I really enjoyed the big closet space.
And now I'm going to talk to you like I talked to my friends.
Man, we've been here for like three months.
And really, it's a long time.
But it's also not that long.
It's only 90 days, right?
But it just feels like I don't know why I'm low key finding kind of feeling like a little bit sad to leave, you know, like I pretty much just come here to work.
So I just every single day my routine was just work, work, work, work, work, film, work, work, work, work, edit, work, work, and then go to the gym.
So I'd go to the gym four or five times a week, and I would just work the whole time.
I didn't really go out.
I never really went out at all, actually never went out, never did much.
The only times I did go out was either to work or to do shopping like buy clothes.
I bought this pair of shorts here and I bought this t shirt here, or this long sleeve shirt.
But yeah, I guess it is sad to leave, leave an apartment that you stayed at for three months.
You know what, all good things there.
Let me finish packing up.
I did buy a lot of clothes.
I didn't really film a lot of that.
But guys want to see a video where I show you all the clothes I bought in Vietnam.
I'll show you because I bought a lot actually.
Like I think I doubled my wardrobe just in Vietnam because it is a lot cheaper than Canada or sorry, not cheaper.
It's a lot more affordable than in Canada because in Canada, a pair of jeans could cost you easily $100.
Here it was around like $20 to $40, which I find much more reasonable.
But the t shirts here were still expensive.
They were like similar price in Canada.
And I don't really like buying t shirts because of that because I feel like they're so expensive.
And they're just like a small piece of fabric.
I would rather go to a secondhand store like value village or Goodwill and just buy t shirts for like $5.
That's usually what I did.
But here I did buy a couple t shirts.
And if I'm going to buy a shirt, I prefer to buy something that is long sleeve.
But yeah, let's keep packing.
I have a lot more, a little more stuff to pack.
I'm just thinking now that damn, I did buy a lot.
And I also oh my gosh, I bought stuff like a scale to like weigh myself.
I also bought a scale for food and I bought a blender and I bought a bunch of food that I didn't like really use.
Like I bought a big bag of rice didn't really use it all.
I bought a bunch of sauces didn't really use it all.
I'm gonna see maybe I'll bring that with me or donate it or something because I don't really want to waste that.
But something because I don't really want to waste that.
But yeah, let me put the last little bit.
I also bought this t shirt here from a store called Acer Studios.
I don't know, I kind of don't really have any t shirts like this.
And I like the rip design of it.
And I bought it.
I've never actually wore it though.
So yeah, maybe it's kind of like a waist, but I definitely will wear it if I have the chance.
But I do like that t shirt.
Here's another shirt.
I've wore this a lot.
I've had it for many years.
These shorts are actually they're not real Nike.
They're fake.
This is a knockoff.
It's not authentic.
Actually, I bought this in Vietnam, I think in Hoi An, I believe four years ago.
And then my muscle shirts.
Put that there.
I can't fit my hoodies in here.
As you can see, I can't really fit them.
So I'll put that in my other suitcase.
But we have one suitcase done.
We also have this container that I can fill with storage stuff.
But that I won't be bringing with me.
But I low key didn't know I had this much stuff.
I kind of thought all that stuff on the would fit in here and it didn't.
But that's okay, because I have more suitcases and a lot more possibilities.
But yeah, this is a bracelet I got in China.
And actually, my brother bought it for me.
So he gave it to me as a gift.
Because I don't know, I guess you guys probably don't know when I was born.
But this year is my year, the year of the horse.
And I didn't know this.
But apparently, this is what my brother told me.
And I googled it and Google said the same thing.
But apparently, when it's your year, you have like, not like bad, terrible, like terrible things happen to you.
But you have like bad luck or like things happen and like things don't always go your way kind of stuff like this.
And I didn't know that dude, I thought if it's my year, it's going to be the best year, like I'm your horse best year, everything perfect, boom, boom, boom.
And my year has been nice.
But there's been like small little things that like happen small, small inconveniences, small things, like something's
not very small, something's pretty big that I'm like, if I could change one thing, I would change this.
But apparently, if someone gives you something red, and you wear it all the time, then it kind of negates that.
So when my brother told me about that, I'm like, and then he bought me this the next day.
So now I have my red bracelet that I've been wearing ever since.
So hopefully my second half of the year is very nice and very perfect.
But yeah, pretty much this is going to take a long time to pack.
I'm sure you guys are going to get bored at that.
I was kind of talking to you in this video, like you're my good friend and like we're just, you know, chatting it up as I'm packing my stuff.
If you guys can see around me, which you can't because I'm embarrassed, I'm not going to show you I like stuff all around.
It's not like crazy messy, but it's just like stuff on my desk stuff on like the floor stuff on my hanger.
But I will deal with all that.
And I guess I guess I'll take a video for you guys tomorrow when I show you everything nicely packed up.
So let me know guys also, do you have recommendations?
What country should I go live in?
Because I like going to live in a country for one to three months, and then just really getting spend some time there and also get to travel around a lot.
That's what I like to do.
So let me know what country and also what city because the city is also very important.
It's also very important.
So let me know in the comments.
And as always, guys, we'll have one last shadowing segment here.
Moving to a new home can be exciting, stressful, and emotional at the same time.
There are boxes to pack, belongings to organize, and small decisions to make.
Even when the move is something we have been looking forward to, leaving a familiar place can still feel strange.
A new home also brings new experiences.

We have to learn where everything is, discover nearby shops and restaurants, and slowly become familiar with the neighborhood.
At first, ordinary tasks can take effort because we do not yet know the area or have an established routine.
However, that unfamiliar feeling is also part of what makes moving exciting.

We may decorate our space differently, explore places we have never visited, and create routines that suit this new stage of our lives.

Empty rooms begin to feel comfortable, new streets become easy to navigate, and the new place gradually starts to feel like home.

Moving can be exhausting, but it can also represent growth, change, and the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
