Translation

My name is Paige Tingey, and I'm a professional landscape photographer.
And my goal is always to capture stories of places and be able to show that through photography and video as well.
I grew up in the middle of nowhere, and everyone around me had this very specific lifestyle.
They had this, you know, this box that they lived in, and I never felt like I would be able to get out of that box.
I thought that I had this very set life that was for me.
So I would go back in time and really encourage myself to dream a little bit bigger.
And I think I would have saved myself a lot of sadness because I just felt like I, I couldn't have opportunities, which was silly.
Wouldn't be eight specific people.
I think I would want to go to every continent and find someone who was really immersed in that culture, really knew the food and the traditions, the history, and put them all in a room.
For Antarctica, we could just say maybe like an explorer or something.
For the eighth person, because I want more, I'd probably grab the funniest person in the world because I think laughter is a very universal language.
It would bring down the walls, and I think that would be one of the coolest dinner parties to be a part of.
So out of all the continents, the one that I would want to visit the very most would be Africa.
I've only been to Egypt and Africa, and if you went up to some random person on the street and you asked them what it's like in Chad, what food do they eat there, what language do they speak there, like I guarantee they actually wouldn't be able to answer that question.
So those are the places that I want to go and capture and see for myself, and hopefully, like show the beauty of.
Probably making dinner at home, glass of wine, put on a psychological thriller because I'm obsessed.
That's like the only type of movies I watch, and that would be yeah, that's like my ideal.
I absolutely love that.
I want to make sure that I'm staying curious about the world around me.
I want to be compassionate towards people.
I also want to stay confident and consistent in every goal that I set, and I also want to make sure that I always have creativity because I'm always wanting to push that outside of my comfort zone.
Number one would be tacos because I feel like that's kind of it's a little bit cheating, but also like you can eat them for breakfast and lunch and dinner, and then you could change what's inside.
But I love cookies, but not just like any cookie from the grocery store.
We're talking like the best cookies and only the best cookies.
Pizza, give it to me in the morning cold, like the nastiest pizza ever.
I still love it, and then probably peaches.
Since I grew up on a farm, there's nothing better than just like a fresh peach right off the tree.
It's yeah, unreal.
If you're not willing to do the uncomfortable thing today, you're never going to be where you want to be tomorrow.
Choose around yourself with people that celebrate your wins with you and get rid of relationships that just no longer serve you.
And if someone wants you to fail, it's because of their insecurity, not because you don't deserve to succeed.
A gorilla.
I would only want to see them in their natural habitat, but I think they're so beautiful.
They're so human-like, and I I think they're incredible.
And then I would also want to be underwater with orcas to just hear their sounds.
I've only like witnessed it obviously on TV or things like that, so being in person would be incredible.
The one person who's had the most impact on my life is my husband.
He's been with me for most of my adult life, and he's watched me go through so many difficult things, so many good things, hard things.
It's and I just wouldn't be able to do anything that I do without his support.
