さて、秋分しゅうぶんも過すぎて秋あきらしい気候きこうになってきました
Now, the autumnal equinox has passed and it's become autumn-like weather.
秋分しゅうぶんというのは昼ひると夜よるの長ながさがほぼ同おなじになる日ひです
The autumnal equinox is the day when the length of day and night become almost equal.
この日ひからだんだん日ひが短みじかくなり、秋あきが深ふかまってきます
From this day, the days gradually get shorter and autumn deepens.
秋あきといえば、読書どくしょの秋あき、スポーツの秋あき
When it comes to autumn, there's 'the season of reading,' 'the season of sports,'
芸術げいじゅつの秋あきなどと言いわれて過すごしやすい気温きおんで
'the season of art,' and with comfortable temperatures,
落おち着ついて何なにかに取とり組くむことができる季節きせつです
it's a season where you can calm down and focus on something.
また、高額こうがくの秋あき、食欲しょくよくの秋あきなんて言葉ことばもありますから

旅行先りょこうさきで美味おいしいものをたくさん食たべたくなる季節きせつでもあります

今年ことしもエリコ塾じゅくは日帰ひがえりツアーを開催かいさいします

今年ことしは滋賀県しがけん大宮八幡おおみやはちまんへの旅たびです

去年きょねんと同おなじように皆みなさんと一緒いっしょに紅葉こうようが見みられたらいいなと思おもっています

ところで紅葉こうようを見みて楽たのしむことを
By the way, the act of looking at and enjoying autumn leaves
もみじ狩かりと言いいます
is called 'momijigari' (autumn leaf hunting).
狩かりというと元々もともとの意味いみは自然しぜんの中なかで動物どうぶつを追おい掛かけて捕つかまえることなんです
'Hunting' originally meant chasing and catching animals in nature.
ですがそこから言葉ことばが発展はってんして今いまでは植物しょくぶつを干渉かんしょうしたり
But the word has evolved from there, and now we use 'something hunting'
農作物のうさくぶつを収穫しゅうかくしたりすることにも何々なになに狩かりを
for things like observing plants
使つかいます
or harvesting crops.
例たとえば紅葉こうようを楽たのしむもみじ狩かり
For example, 'momijigari' for enjoying autumn leaves,
海岸かいがんに埋れている貝かいを取とるシオヒガリ、果物くだものを
'shiogari' for picking shells buried on the beach, and for fruits,
摘つみ取とるイチゴ狩かり、ブドウ狩かり、リンゴ狩かり
'ichigogari' (strawberry picking), 'budogari' (grape picking), 'ringogari' (apple picking),
椎茸しいたけなどのキノコ類るいを取とるキノコ狩かりなどがあります
and 'kinogari' (mushroom picking) for picking mushrooms like shiitake.
美味おいしいものが多おおい秋あきですから、たくさんの何々なになに狩かりがあることが想像そうぞうできますよね
Since autumn has many delicious things, you can imagine there are many 'something hunting' activities, right?
でも
But
秋あきの味覚みかくでも何々なになに狩かりが使つかえないものもあります
there are autumn delicacies for which 'something hunting' cannot be used.
例たとえば栗くりを取とることを栗くり狩かりとは言いいません
For example, picking chestnuts is not called 'kuri-gari' (chestnut hunting).
これは栗くりを拾ひろうから栗くり拾ひろいと言いいます
Because you pick them up from the ground, it's called 'kuri-hiroi' (chestnut picking up).
またサツマイモは植うえられている場所ばしょの土つちを掘ほるので
Also, for sweet potatoes, since you dig the soil where they are planted,
芋掘いもほり
it's called 'imo-hori' (potato digging)
またはサツマイモ掘ほりと言いいます
or 'satsumaimo-hori' (sweet potato digging).
ちなみに先さきほど秋あきの味覚みかくと言いいましたが、これは秋あきにとれる美味おいしい食たべ物もの

秋あきになるとナシガリ、栗くり
in autumn we would go pear picking, chestnut
ひろい、芋掘いもほりに行いったものですが

最近さいきんはとんと行いってないです
but lately I haven't been going at all.
とんと何々なになにないというのは全然ぜんぜん何々なになにないという意味いみですが
'Tonto ~nai' means 'not at all ~ing,'
日常会話にちじょうかいわでは
but in everyday conversation,
以前いぜんに比くらべると今いまはそれをする機会きかいがなくなったという時ときに使つかうことが多おおいです
it's often used when you want to say you've lost the opportunity to do something compared to before.
この頃ごろ学生時代がくせいじだいの友達ともだちにとんと行いっていないのように使つかいます
Lately, I use it like 'I haven't been seeing my college friends much at all.'
また高額こうがくの秋あきということで日本語にっぽんご学習がくしゅうしている方ほうの多おおくがこの時期じきを選えらんで来日らいにちされます
Also, since it's the season of appetite, many Japanese learners choose this time of year to come to Japan.
来日らいにちというのは外国がいこくの人ひとが日本にほんに来くることです
'Coming to Japan' means a foreigner coming to Japan.
日本にほんの夏なつは湿気しっけが高たかく蒸むし暑あついので
Japan's summer is humid and muggy, so
少すこし暑あつさが落おち着ついた10月じゅうがつ頃ころから来日らいにちされる方ほうが多おおい気きがします
I feel like many people visit Japan starting around October when the heat has calmed down a bit
もちろん春はるも少すこし暑あついですし桜さくらの季節きせつなので人気にんきの高額こうがくシーズンですが

ここ何年なんねんか大おおバツリズムが避さけられていることもあって

恐怖きょうふや驚おどろき、興奮こうふんなどで大おおきな声こえを出だすという意味いみもありますが
also means to shout loudly out of fear, surprise, or excitement, but
大だいバツリズムが避さけられているのような場合ばあいは社会しゃかいに対たいして自分じぶんの意見いけんを強つよく主張しゅちょうするという意味いみで使つかいます
in cases like 'massive crowds have been avoided,' it is used to mean strongly asserting one's opinion to society
実際じっさいに大声出おおごえだしてなくても使つかえます
You can use it even without actually shouting loudly
例たとえば世界平和せかいへいわを避さけぶや経済改革けいざいかいかくの必要性ひつようせいを避さけぶなどです
For example, 'shouting for world peace' or 'shouting for the necessity of economic reform'
高額こうがくの秋あきと食欲しょくよくの秋あきが同時どうじに楽たのしめるものとなると
If it's something where you can enjoy both the beautiful autumn and the autumn of appetite at the same time
グルメ旅行りょこうですね
it's a gourmet trip
その土地とちならではの美味おいしい食材しょくざいや郷土料理きょうどりょうりを楽たのしみることは多おおくの人ひとが旅たびに期待きたいすることですよね

食たべられます

松茸まつたけといえば香かおりがよくて希少性きしょうせいが高たかいことから高級こうきゅうな木きのコトして知しられています
Matsutake mushrooms are known as a luxury mushroom because of their good aroma and high rarity
希少性きしょうせいというのは欲ほしいという欲求よっきゅうに対たいして数かずや量りょうが限かぎられている状態じょうたいです
Rarity means a state where the quantity or amount is limited in relation to the desire to have something
つまり少すくなくてもめずらしいということなんですが
In other words, it means it's rare even if it's not scarce
どうして松茸まつたけが他ほかの木きのコルイに比くらべて希少性きしょうせいが高たかいと思おもいますか
Why do you think matsutake mushrooms have higher rarity compared to other mushrooms?
その理由りゆうはいくつかありますが
There are several reasons, but
一番いちばんの理由りゆうは松茸まつたけは人工じんこう栽培さいばいができないからだそうです
the biggest reason is that matsutake mushrooms cannot be artificially cultivated
松茸まつたけは生いきているアカマツの木きにしか育そだたないので、畑はたけや工場こうじょうなどの人工じんこう栽培さいばいは不可能ふかのうです
Matsutake mushrooms only grow on living red pine trees, so artificial cultivation in fields or factories is impossible
そして松茸まつたけがこの無む環境かんきょうにも理由りゆうがあります
And there is also a reason why matsutake mushrooms are in this environment
松茸まつたけは
Matsutake mushrooms
加熱かねつがよくやせた土壌どじょうで、さらに直射日光ちょくしゃにっこうの当あたらなくて適度てきどに湿しめり気けがある場所ばしょで育そだちます
grow in well-drained, nutrient-poor soil, and in places with moderate moisture that are not exposed to direct sunlight
やせた土壌どじょうというのは栄養えいようが少すくない土つちということです
Nutrient-poor soil means soil with few nutrients
やせるという言葉ことばは枯かれただけではなく土地とちにも使つかえるんです
The word 'lean' is not just used for things that have withered, but can also be applied to land
昔むかしは山やまの木きや落おち葉ばを燃料ねんりょうとして使つかっていましたが
In the past, mountain trees and fallen leaves were used as fuel
今いまはガスを使つかうことが一般的いっぱんてきになってきて山やまの木きや落おち葉ばがそのままずっと残のこったままになっています
but now it has become common to use gas, and mountain trees and fallen leaves have remained as they are
そのため土壌どじょうに栄養えいようが行いき渡わたり松茸まつたけが育そだちにくい環境かんきょうになっていることも理由りゆうの一ひとつです
As a result, the soil doesn't get enough nutrients, and the environment has become one where matsutake mushrooms are difficult to grow, which is also one of the reasons
以前いぜんはシイタケよりもやっかたと言いわれるくらいたくさん採とれた松茸まつたけですが

今いまは希少性きしょうせいの高たかい高級こうきゅう食材しょくざいとなっているんです
but now they have become a luxury ingredient with high rarity

今年ことしは気候きこうがよく国内こくないの松茸まつたけはたくさん採とれたため
This year, the climate was good and many matsutake mushrooms were harvested domestically
なんと例年れいねんの半値はんねぐらいで販売はんばいされる予定よていだそうです

とはいえでもシイタケが1キロ2000円えんぐらいなのに対たいして

松茸まつたけは1キロ5万まん円えん前後ぜんごだということです
