I think I'll take you along. Please treat me well. And this time, I've introduced new equipment: the DJI Osmo Pocket.
I want to use this for my travels, so please treat me well.
I think it's cute.
Before transferring flights, first of all,
I suppose.
So, when you arrive at Naha Airport, you have to have this first: Root Beer. Okinawa
is something you can't miss.
Well, it's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing.
I've always wondered what kind of taste this is.
I like drinking it while having a question mark over my head. I really wanted to ride this.
It's like I stopped at Naha Airport just for this. So, here I go.

is like... It's been a really long time since I used DJI.
I used to use it back in the day, I used the DJI Osmo Pocket 2, but I tried using it again after a long time.
The leveling is amazing, that's a good point. It's grateful that it keeps me in the center. So, this one here,
it has the shop's name on it, and this is the most popular one. It's incredibly delicious.
It's a hamburger you can't find on the main island. Can you see this? Inside,
it's amazing.
Thick.
There's a super thick piece of cheese inside, and it's a delicious hamburger with a kick of black pepper.

The Pocket fulfills my wishes. When I use my iPhone, I basically don't use a gimbal.
んで
So,
I'm shooting handheld, but then my face takes up quite a lot of the screen.
Sometimes it's on a plane.
But when I wear nice clothes,
sometimes,
my face is quite close-up, and it feels a bit cramped.
I felt it was a shame when I was wearing clothes I liked, but with the DJI, just by taking it out, it becomes high quality like this, so it's quite a grateful feature.
Also, DJI is really
grateful because
it has a setting for skin beautification. I have the skin beautification on right now.
With an iPhone,
it doesn't have that.
いつも
Always,
those rough spots,
I'm really exposing them when I shoot.
I'm at an age where I'm concerned about those things, so having that done for me is also something I'm grateful for. My skin looks really beautiful.
The start of the trip is the classic A&W Burger in Okinawa. What I started with is the classic
fresh cheese piled high, which is incredibly delicious, and
the Root Beer you drink with it is free refills.
There are many Okinawan people who say this is the taste of their hometown. Now that I'm full, I'm heading to Miyakojima.
I did. And it's been a very long time since I've been to Miyakojima. When I was in junior high school, with my mother and my grandmother who was still alive, the three of us.
It's been a while since I've been there, and I really don't know what to expect.
I went when I was about that age,
Well, it's been a long time, six years ago, right? Yes, the pros.
That's why I asked the viewers on Instagram in advance for recommended spots in Miyakojima.
I've asked them,
So, I'd like to go on a no-plan Miyakojima trip based on that. I've arrived at the boarding gate.
どう
How is it?
Miyako.
The zoom is amazing.
It can zoom up to 12 times.
The old DJI,
couldn't zoom this much, it's amazing.
Can you do this with a gold camera?
I'm impressed.
Also, I'll say it again, I'm really happy that I can take such high-quality videos.
I really like this one-piece dress. It's the kind of dress that I could wear as my summer uniform every year, but
being able to capture this
in high quality like this
is something I'm very grateful for.
There are other measurement points, but with DJI, I usually use the iPhone's front camera, so
this wide angle
makes me very happy.
I boarded the plane and headed to the runway. I always wave back to the ground staff who send us off with all their might at this moment.
I could see their expressions clearly with the 10x zoom.
And this is the first time I've tried
4K shooting in a travel video. The sunlight, the color of the sky, and the whiteness of the clouds are all captured very vividly.
I always make sure to film the moment of takeoff when I'm on a plane, but if I just use my smartphone, it gets quite shaky.
Well, it has a built-in shake correction function, but there's a limit to it, but with DJI,
the camera body itself acts like a gimbal, so the shake is kept to a minimum.
And we took off. How is it? The horizon looks very beautiful too.
And when you talk about 4K shooting, you might think
about the data capacity,
right? You might think you need an SD card, and there are many small things to worry about.
But, surprisingly, this Osmo Pocket
comes with 128GB built-in. You can record about 3 hours and 20 minutes of 4K video,
which is another point I'm grateful for. About five years ago, I think I used an Osmo Pocket,
and
back then I had to carry a separate SD card, and sometimes I would forget it and have to buy one locally, but with this Osmo Pocket,
I don't have to worry about that. As I was saying that, we arrived over Miyakojima.
I could see many fields by zooming in, and most of them are sugarcane fields,
I wonder?
Before landing, there was a weather forecast announcement saying that the runway at Miyakojima Airport is short, so there will be strong turbulence. Please be careful of the shaking.
I felt quite a strong impact while on board, but even so, the camera hardly shook. Osmo Pocket is amazing. For the first time in a hundred million years,
Miyakojima. This airport
is
very shaky, isn't it?
I'll take an airport taxi to the hotel where I'll be staying after this.
But I'm a little curious about the airport,
so let's explore a little before heading to the hotel.

I've arrived at Miyakojima Airport.

Wow, this Sebi-san is also made entirely of Sango-sho (coral). Wow.
I've come up to the Pai-ten side.
When it comes to Miyakojima, you know,
it's a bit of a distance away from the main island of Okinawa,
so the scenery changes too.

in Miyakojima, you know, this A&W, A&W. There was an A&W in Miyakojima too.
Oh, I wanted to eat here then.
I thought I could only eat it in Naha, so I made it a layover, but it's here. I didn't know.
There's also, A&W's

I wonder if people don't say 'Instagrammable' anymore? I don't put it by the window, but maybe it's 'shigo' (outdated slang) now.

If you want to see the sunset sinking into the sea, it's more beautiful if you go to Irabu Island, he said. Well, it's beautiful enough here too. And right in front is the harbor, I guess?
There are many ships, Minami-shimal, Yuai-maru, Uruma-maru, and there are cargo ships in the back too, right? You can see it so well.
It's super sharp, even at 12x zoom it's super sharp, and the colors are beautiful too.

The island is almost at that price now, but back then, it was an era where you could go from Haneda for about 90,000 yen per person.

It has changed so much. Miyakojima has many chain stores now, and there are so many stylish hotels like this one.

Agu pork is said to be Okinawa Prefecture's specialty pork.

I'll have an Orion, please. Since I'm in...
I went to Sapporo, so my sense of things is a bit off. I was in Okinawa and couldn't figure out if I was living in Sapporo or not. Oh right, in Okinawa it's Orion.
Yes, that kind of...
Somewhere in the east or west...
I've lost track of where I've been.
Bye-bye. So,
I've arrived. This is Miyako Soba.

I don't really have an image of how it's different from regular soba, but this is the Chanpon bowl as a set. Not Chanpuru bowl, but Chanpon bowl. It has island tofu and stir-fried vegetables on top. Oh, so this is what a Chanpon bowl is.
Let's eat. Oh, yes. Delicious. Too delicious. Hmm, this sourness is the best. I wonder how they make the Chanpon bowl. Pork... there's some egg in it too, right? Let's eat. Hmm, the vegetables are
crunchy
で
and
the island tofu is firm and delicious. So this is the taste of Miyako. You know, in Okinawa, they call seasoned rice 'Juicy'. I didn't think I'd be able to have that this time, but since the Chanpon bowl
looked interesting,

eating it and made a new discovery. I wonder if this is also a major thing.
It's not well-known to tourists, well, recently due to the influence of YouTube,
I think many people know about it, but there's a very famous item called Miso Soup Set Meal.
And since it says 'Miso Soup' on the menu at the diner, if you just order the miso soup,
it comes in a bowl like this,
and it comes with rice, so they call the Miso Soup Set Meal just 'Miso Soup'.
Also, there's a menu item called 'Okazu' (Side Dish).
It just says 'Okazu' like that. But when you order that side dish, you get a huge portion of stir-fried vegetables or something.
That's also just called 'Okazu', but it's an 'Okazu Set Meal'.
Well, in this dialect, it's just 'Okazu',
but it comes with rice and such, so 'Okazu' and 'Miso Soup Set Meal' are Okinawa's diner food, Okinawa
diner food, Okinawa.
Good morning. It's the final day of our 3-day, 2-night trip to Okinawa.
Today in Miyakojima, it's a huge downpour, or rather, great weather... it's raining really hard, but well, the second day of the weekend,
I was happy it was sunny on my birthday. And today,

and I tried wearing it like this.
Yes, and at the Donki in Miyakojima, it was very Okinawa-style, with the 'Don-don-don-Donki' song.

So, where am I? I crossed the Ikema Ohashi Bridge and came to Ikema Island. This is what the island looks like. How is it?

is this Ogami Island? Yes.
Looking at the map, it seems like it's there, I wonder if you can get there by boat or something? It doesn't look like an uninhabited island.
This time in Okinawa, it was a completely unplanned trip, so I couldn't do any marine activities,
so next time I come, I'd like to try doing things like that. It's beautiful. This is the Ikema Ohashi Bridge visible in front.
Speaking of Okinawa, at the very end, we did something touristy and went to Blue Seal Ice Cream.

Or a waffle cone. It's been a while since I've had ice cream. I don't really eat it that often, I'm not a huge ice cream person, but I definitely want to start with the Okinawan one. So first, let's have the Ube in this cute glass. It's rich and flavorful. Now for the lighter Beni-imo.
The taste is completely different.
