I actually got this wallet custom made here in Hoi An, so you can see the interior is red and the exterior is this beautiful crocodile leather.
But yeah, this is my new wallet and it's a vertical wallet.
It's not the traditional horizontal wallet, for example, like this one.

And this is a vertical bi-fold wallet.
But wallets that open like this are called bi-fold wallets.

This right here is my crossbody bag I bought from Uniqlo.
I bought this about four years ago in Tokyo, actually in Tokyo, Japan.

Arc'teryx is actually a Canadian brand, but I think they're owned by a Chinese company now.
But it originally started in British Columbia.

This right here is a receipt.
This is a receipt from our convenience store video where we tried Vietnamese convenience store food.

There you go.
Now hopefully I smell good.
And I'll also do the same with my deodorant.
Sorry, that was my cologne.

So I believe that's all my stuff that I need to pack in my bag.
We're only here in this hotel room for two nights, so I didn't really need to pack a lot.
Three thousand—that is the amount of words you need to understand up to ninety-five percent of spoken English.
That is why I made the three thousand most common English words textbook with clear definitions, real example sentences, and simple organization by topic and CEFR level.
So you know exactly what to study next.
And now, if you want to learn even more, I've added the next two thousand most common English words, so you can get the full five thousand most common English words textbook to understand up to ninety-eight percent of spoken English.
This will help you to know exactly what to study and really advance your English vocabulary and level.

This is a large bottle of water.
I'm actually thirsty, and there's a little bit left, so I will drink that right now.
Ah, that was refreshing.
This right here is a reusable glass bottle.
So this was filled with water, but I took it and I poured it into this bottle, and then drank it because I didn't want to drink from this bottle because I don't know if this is clean or dirty.
There's also a TV up there.
So this is a teaspoon.
This is a mug, a small mug, and this is just a small plate.
So you can use this for either your morning coffee or tea.
And this, I believe, is complementary.
You can see you have two black tea bags and two packs of instant coffee.
I personally don't drink coffee at all.
Tell me, do you drink coffee?
I personally never drink coffee.
I don't like it.
This right here is an electric kettle, and it's made of stainless steel, and it's reflecting a warped image of me.
So this is an electric kettle, so you have to plug it into the wall.
That right there is a small trash bin, and this right here is a landline phone, a landline phone.
But I unplugged it, so I should probably plug it back in.
So I'm going to take this landline cable now and plug it back in.
Because the phone won't work unless it's plugged in.
Kind of tryna plug it in.
Let me see.
There you go.
So I just plug the phone in, and it should be working now.
This right here is a nightstand.
This is a lamp, and this is the AC remote.
And I just use this to turn on and off the AC, and also adjust the temperature.
And this is my hairband to hold my hair back.
Let's open up some of these curtains to let some light in.
Leon is just chilling on the chair here, cleaning his glasses.
Oh yeah, this is our room.
Let me finish packing my bag.
I kind of got a little distracted, so I'll grab my bag, and I think the first things I will pack are my toiletries.
So let's actually go get my toiletries.
My toiletries are in the washroom or toilet.
This is our bathroom washroom or toilet.
This is a bath.
That is a shower, and this is our sink.
You can see our stuff is on the counter here, but I'm gonna pack it up into this plastic bag and pack it away in my backpack.
It's my moisturizer, and this is my toothpaste.
But it's a little wet, so I'm gonna dry it before packing it away.
So I just dried it.
Now put it in the bag.
So I put my toiletries bag inside my backpack.
I really like this backpack because it's so easy to find stuff inside because of the contrast.
You can see the inside is a very bright orange, and the outside is black.
So there is a strong contrast between the inside and outside, so it's easy to see everything inside the bag because of the bright orange interior.
Anyway, let's keep packing my bag and let's put all my stuff in my backpack.
I'll fold my T-shirt before packing it away.
Now I'm gonna zip up my backpack.
So everything is in my backpack except for my laptop.
I think I'll have to do a little bit of work before going, so I'll pack that last.
But for now, my backpack can go there.
My crossbody bag is also packed, so it can go there as well.
And this is just a garbage bag, so I'll put this by the garbage.
Besides that, I think we're all ready.
Are you all packed?
I'm ready.
So Leon said he's ready.
The beds are made.
Of course, they're gonna come clean the room, so the beds don't need to be perfect.
But I would say we're ready to go and explore Hoi An a little bit.
So you want to head out?
Let's bounce.
Let's bounce.
So I just got off the bike, and now I'm walking towards Lyon.
Hello, hello, camera people.
Hey guys.
So right now we are walking through the streets of Hoi An here.
Hoi An is known for their tailoring and also for their leather stores.
Those are the two things they're known for: custom tailoring and leather goods.
So as we walk through these streets, you will see a lot of tailors and leather stores.
For example, here you have a tailor and a leather store, and they sell bags, leather jackets, boots, messenger bags, backpacks.
They sell a lot of stuff.
Right now we are walking to a market because I want to look at some silver jewelry.
Have you got anything custom tailored in Hoi An?
No.
いや。
I got this custom tailored.
You got this custom tailored.
Exactly.
So Lyon got this made in Hoi An.
This shirt.
What is the material?
This is 100 linen.
Oh me, I'm okay.
What is it?
何？
So this is 100 linen.
100 linen.
I got it made here.
Yeah.
うん。
Okay.
よし。
Should we get going to the market?
Yeah.
うん。
It's okay.
It's okay.
That's okay.
Thank you.
Thank you.
No, it's okay.
Come on, thank you.
So those ladies back there wanted to sell some fruits, but we already ate, so we're not that hungry.
Oh, there's a guy on a bicycle that just passed by me.
But this is the market we wanted to go to.
This market right here.
You can see you can withdraw cash from this ATM if you want, but I already have cash, so I don't need to withdraw anything.
So let's just go straight into the market.
Those ATMs look a little sketchy, don't you think?
Yeah, they do look sketchy.
I wouldn't trust them.
Yeah.
うん。
But anyway, let's go into the market here.
So I think our mission for today is to get something to eat.
For sure.
Definitely.
Go under 100,000 Vietnamese dong, and then maybe get a souvenir too.
What about some artifacts?
Some artifacts.
Yeah.
No.
Oh, here's some silver.
This is actually the jewelry place I was looking.
Oh, is it?
So right now we're looking at these silver rings.
There are also silver bracelets and more rings over here, and you can also custom make your own rings.
I believe these are earrings, and these are bracelets.
They have many designs here.
This one is kind of an eight thousand dollars six hundred and eighty.
And what kind of silver is it?
Sterling silver nine two three nine two five.
Yes, maybe something like a stone with a small gemstone in the middle.
But this is a nice thing.
Same color.
So we were looking at that silver jewelry.
We didn't end up buying anything because we're leaving today in like one hour.
It would take like five hours to make something.
So we decided not to get anything.
But here you can see people are tailors.
There's a lot of fabric everywhere.
You can get a suit made here, or a dress, or honestly anything you want.
But we're gonna head outside and go find something to eat now.
You can see we're walking past more leather stores here.
Up in front here is a beautiful, beautiful tree.
This is a cashmere store by the look of it.
This is another clothing store.
Oh, what's the shoe?
Did it come from this tree?
I think so.
Think it's a walnut.
Oh, for real?
For some sort of nut fruit.
Wait, what happened to your shoe?
Broke.
Because I put like a hundred thousand steps on them a day.
They just like delaminated.
Oh, I gotta get it glued.
You can see the bottom of this shoe is coming apart.
Yeah.
うん。
So I gotta get it glued back.
Yeah.
うん。
Anyway, where are we going?
Uh, got like a block more to go, and then we'll be there.
Where?
A restaurant.
Uh, breakfast bistro, and they're serving bony.
Bony.
What's that?
Bony is actually, I think bony means bread.
Actually, I don't know, but it's like a steak and egg dish that's served with fresh baguette.
Usually, you eat that all together.
It's usually served on a really hot plate, cast iron skillet or something, and then you eat it directly from there, like scooping up the food with your hands and stuff.
So really good.
I had it for the first time earlier this week, and it was so good.
Actually, I'm kind of annoyed I didn't try it before.
Why did you like it so much?
The flavors were really good, and there was a lot of meat and protein in it, and it wasn't like overly sweet compared to like other Vietnamese foods, especially breakfast foods.
Well, I'm excited to try it as well.
So let's keep going to the restaurant.
We are walking through this very narrow alleyway.
The paint on the side of this wall is very faded and not very vibrant.
Look at that.
On this wall is a lot more vibrant and brighter.
And there's also shards of glass on the top of this wall.
Now, what is that for?
That is to keep people from climbing over the wall.
This is very common in South America, but I don't see it that often in Vietnam.
Right now, Leon is walking in front of me, and I am behind him.
Oh, like here, a scooter driving past us.
Oh, here's the bonee.
So did you want to eat here, Leon?
I think so.
I kind of have been craving the bonee.
This food right here.
And I'm the kind of person that is gonna eat the same thing until I'm sick of it.
So meat too.
Let's do it.
So this right here is a menu, and it's outside of the restaurant, just so that when you walk by, you can see the menu and decide whether you want to eat here or not.
Anyway, I think we'll go in here and get this for breakfast.
So let's walk into the restaurant now.
Okay, guys.
So we ordered our food and it has just arrived.
This is bonee.
We have a slice of bread on the side on this plate, and then we have our main course right here with two fried eggs and meat on the side, and it looks like it's in some sort of gravy.
We also bought a large bottle of water.
Leon got a coffee, and you can see I poured myself a glass of water, and I drank about half of it.
On the side, we have napkins, toothpicks, and condiments.
But this is what we're gonna be eating today for breakfast, and then we will go back to our hotel to check out.
So let's gobble this up, gobble, and go.
Okay, guys.
So I've just booked my grab bike.
Grab
It's about three minutes away, and we're walking through these alleyways to get to the bike, and that's where I'll be meeting my grab driver at the pickup point.
Then we'll go back to our hotel, finish packing up our stuff, and then check out, and then we'll head back to Da Nang.
Wow.
So let's go.
I just got off the grab bike, and now we're gonna go back to our hotel room, finish packing up, and then check out.
That right there is the reception.
You check in at the reception, and you also check out.
And if you have any inquiries or problems, you can go to the reception, and they can help you there.
Right now, we're walking through the beautiful hotel garden.
Honestly, this was a pleasant surprise because the Google reviews were suspiciously low, and it turned out to be a lot better than what the reviews said.
Right?
Yeah, the reviews on Google, eh?
They weren't the best, but the reviews on Agoda, which is a booking platform, were a lot better.
So good thing we listened to Agoda instead of Google.
But here you can see the hotel.
There's a beautiful pool here.
There are beautiful rooms up here, and we're staying on the second floor with a nice view of the pool.
Now we're gonna walk up these stairs to our hotel room.
Our room is the first one on the right.
So this is my keycard.

So we're pretty much all packed up, ready to go.
Let me just finish packing up my bags.
So I just picked up my backpack and set it down on my bed.
I'll now pull my charger out of the wall.
So this is a universal travel adapter.
That means whatever country I'm in, I have an option to charge my phone with.
So there are many options here, and I can also plug in any sort of prong into this.
Anyway, let's pack this away.
Let's roll up my charging cables as well.
This is my laptop cable.
Are you ready to?
I'm ready.
I'm just gonna put the camera away, and I'm good to go.
Yeah, we have about eight minutes before we need to check out, so I'm gonna rush a little bit.
Open up my backpack.
That in there, as well as the charging brick, and this small pillow.
I'll zip that up.
So I have this.
I just put that on.
Let me pick up this pillow off the floor and grab this bag.
There's nothing left on the table there.
We'll bring these snacks with us, and I also need to get my crossbody bag.
So put that there for now.
So I'll get down and I'll look under the bed to make sure I didn't drop anything, and then we should be good to go.
