The two, since the hiatus,
but their exchanges continued to be out of sync
This time, you know,
A lack of crisis management ability has been pointed out
So I think you should see this as a problem of Minister Yana, and at the same time a question of the prime minister's qualifications
I think that's the way to see it
Regarding crisis management ability, I find it very regrettable that it was seen as lacking. Well,
For 24 hours, I always keep my official smartphone by my side at maximum volume, even at night
I lie down with it
I put effort into crisis management, that is how I feel. Commissioner Ito, Ms. Tsujimoto,
Ms. Tsujimoto, the Ministry of Land and the Ministry of Agriculture were in great confusion
It's your own cabinet, isn't it
Failing to bring that under control properly is not a story about leaving a phone aside during a disaster
Please apologize for the poor response
Regarding remarks made as a politician before becoming minister, I think he himself should fulfill his accountability
I also think it was problematic
She's saying it to the Takaichi of the past
Even after becoming prime minister,
Please speak naturally
You should admit that here
Please admit it, you said, but I did not take what you just said as a question
Her diplomatic stance was also questioned
Prime Minister Takaichi was absent from the G7 leaders' meeting held online on the 2nd of this month
On that day, at the Prime Minister's Official Residence,
a dinner with the vice president and others was held,
but it had ended before 8 p.m.,
and the leaders' meeting
was held from 9:30 p.m.
Well, this was not the kind of meeting that the prime minister from Japan must attend; proxy attendance is allowed
That is how it was. I myself considered attending, but the time was only finalized just before it was held that day,
first, without administrative preparations in place, for an online meeting you need, well,
you use a fairly large display, so you have to ask a contractor, a vendor,
so preparations could not be made in time, and Foreign Affairs Councilor Endo attended as proxy
Prime Minister, were you at the official residence that day?
Prime Minister Takaichi,
I was at the official residence. But for various connection settings for the改正, we had to call in a vendor,
and there was no longer time for that. I, that night during those hours,
at the official residence,
was writing my statement of resolve and inaugural address
What, is this a country that can't even hold an international conference without a vendor coming?
Leading from the center of the world,
You talk about Japanese diplomacy, but I'm worried we'll be pushed to the margins
Well, there are meetings that leaders themselves are expected to attend,
and I always attend such meetings
In the Budget Committee,
the reduction of consumption tax on food was also debated,
Prime Minister Takaichi newly,
as a support measure for the restaurant industry,
mentioned the use of premium gift certificates
Meanwhile,
The opposition parties remain cautious about tax cuts
Deliberations on the related bills
