too good, seriously delicious.
"Special Ramen Tonkichi," famous for its thick, rich tonkotsu ramen that draws long lines.
It's not exactly addictive, but it's so tasty I feel like I could eat it every day.
That thickness is what makes it so good.

I'm hooked on that thickness.

Eating it with rice, as ramen rice, is really delicious,
It's truly a taste full of memories.

There were just so few customers coming in, every day I was like what should I do, what should I do — that's how we started.

It was founded in July 1987.
The previous owner ran it until 2023, and I've taken over since then.
I worked here for about 2 years before that.
My father had always worked in food service, so when he went independent he opened the shop here.

My parents still help out now.
For dining in, we only serve tonkotsu.

For takeout, we have three kinds: tonkotsu, mixed, and soy sauce.
But there are a certain number of fans who love the soy sauce.
We couldn't do dine-in during the pandemic, so when we reopened we did it with a tonkotsu-only menu, and it's continued that way

so reopening was a bit too much of a burden for them, so to manage within what we could handle, we decided to reopen just with tonkotsu, in limited quantities, and it's stayed that way.

There's still a fair amount of demand for takeout.
