最近さいきん日本にほんでは

本当ほんとうにいろいろな場所ばしょで灌水かんすいしてしまって

もう町まちが海うみのようになってしまっているところもありました

先さきに行いってきますと先生せんせいの実家じっかは大丈夫だいじょうぶでした

そしたら二人ふたりともヤバイ家いえに帰かえれないっていうことを言いってました

まあその大雨おおあめによる影響えいきょうでトイレが逆流ぎゃくりゅう逆流ぎゃくりゅうしてしまったそうなんです
Well, due to the heavy rain, the toilet backed up and overflowed.
お母かあさんが家いえに帰かえってきたら
When my mother came home,
もうトイレから溢あふれてしまった水みずで床ゆかが水浸みずびたしになっていたそうです
the floor was apparently soaked with water that had overflowed from the toilet.
ただ不思議ふしぎなのが先生せんせいの家いえって実家じっかって1階いっかいと2階にかいにトイレがあるんですけど
But the strange thing is, my parents' house has toilets on both the first and second floors,
その被害ひがいは2階にかいのトイレだけだったそうです
and the damage was only to the second-floor toilet.

こう更新こうしんすればするほどどんどん新あたらしい情報じょうほうが来きて
the more I refreshed, the more new information kept coming in,
どこどこの川かわが氾濫はんらんしそうですとか
like which river was about to overflow,
あの避難ひなん警報けいほうなんかレベル3とか4とか5とか
or evacuation warnings at levels 3, 4, or 5,
どんどんどんどんひどくなっていったので
and it just kept getting worse and worse,
かなり心配しんぱいしてました

ただあのそういうふうな中なかで次つぎの日ひにはもう完全かんぜんに水みずが引ひいてたんですよ町中まちなか

写真しゃしんを見みたらほぼほぼ本当ほんとうに何事なにごともなかったこのような今いままで通どおりの状態じょうたいになっていて

あの話はなしを聞きいたら先生せんせいのおばあちゃんもあのその時ときは被害ひがいにあった
but when I heard the story, my grandmother also suffered damage at that time,
家いえが浸水しんすいしてしまったっていうの話はなしてて
and she told me that their house had flooded.
今回こんかいも同おなじことが起おこるんじゃないかって心配しんぱいしていた方ほうも多おおかったようですが

あのその時ときと比くらべてもかなり被害ひがいを抑おさえられたそうです

so I decided to share here that this actually happened.
