The new LDP executive team shows Prime Minister Takai's intention to prioritize continuity.
We will work hard as number one in both the House of Councillors and the House of Representatives. Many

of the officers were retained in this personnel reshuffle.
Since the current system was established, we achieved a landslide victory in the February House of Representatives election,
and in the recent special Diet session, we have continued stable government operations, such as passing all bills submitted by the government.
It is difficult to raise the approval rating any further. If you think about how to minimize errors, not changing personnel is somewhat natural.
Among these, the personnel related to Diet management are considered to have shown great strength.
It is everyone's wish.
Former Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Murai, who was appointed as the Diet Affairs Committee Chairman to coordinate between the ruling and opposition parties in the Diet,
is considered a bold appointment.
This is because most successive Diet Affairs Committee Chairmen have been veteran lawmakers who have experienced finance and other areas.
It is unusual for Mr. Murai, who is in his [age group], to take the position.
Mr. Murai has so far
been involved in Diet reform, such as abolishing the custom of cabinet ministers who have no scheduled questions attending the Budget Committee.
He has been involved in Diet reform.
This appointment is a message from the Prime Minister that we should break away from conventional Diet countermeasures.
Also, in the LDP House of Councillors personnel reshuffle carried out at the same time, Isshin, the Secretary-General of the House of Councillors, who is well-versed in Diet management, will be replaced.
Prime Minister Takai, due to the fact that this year's budget could not be passed within the fiscal year during the recent special Diet session,
is said to have grown anxious about Isshin.
There is a view within the party that Matsuyama, the Chairman of the House of Councillors, who holds substantial personnel authority, may have carried this out by taking into account Prime Minister Takai's intentions, but
I do not have the personnel authority for the officers of the House of Councillors. Yes, well, in the House,
it is a matter for them to decide.
The Prime Minister, that, and that
there is no talk of me sweating over it, so based on the history and tradition of the House of Councillors,
I am firmly within the House of Councillors
and we have carried out the personnel changes together.
This personnel reshuffle prioritizes continuity while adding changes.
Following the party, Prime Minister Takai will carry out a cabinet reshuffle tomorrow.
