This is the Kanto weather forecast, Imamura-san. Yes, I will report it.
Now, for the Silver Week starting this weekend, this year it is a 7-day
consecutive holiday, but
as you can see, it is actually the first time in 11 years that there will be a 5-day consecutive holiday on the calendar,
and the next time will be in 2032. It was that rare. Actually, that is true.
Now, it is just that a typhoon seems to be approaching the Kanto region during such a precious Silver Week.
Even looking at the weather icons, there are really only cloudy and umbrella icons,
and it seems that the typhoon's influence will appear especially from Sunday to Monday.
Depending on how it moves, there is a risk of heavy rain and wind, leading to stormy weather.
Let's take a look. Yes, this is the one that was affected over the weekend.
Yes, it seems it will be affected by the typhoon this time too. That is right. Okinawa has finally started to have continuous sunny weather here.
So, this weekend will be good for traveling or leisure. Yes.
Looking at the typhoon's forecast path,
the course has changed toward the main island.
So, it will gradually approach Kanto on Sunday. And by Monday the 21st, Kanto is firmly within the forecast circle.
Therefore, there is a risk of it making landfall,
and even if it passes through the sea to the east,
it is likely to be accompanied by a storm zone,
so the impact will not be small,
that is the situation. Since it is Silver Week,
I think many people have plans, but in some cases, changes may be necessary. That is right, it is conceivable that transportation and other services will be affected.
Now, even today, rain has been falling for a long time in Kanto.
As you can see, rain clouds are flowing in one after another, and there are some places where the rain columns are intensifying.
Looking at the forecast for later, the situation remains the same, and there are places where rain columns are likely to intensify until late at night. Also,
active rain clouds are covering the Izu Islands, and there is a risk of heavy rain until tomorrow morning.
Since there has been heavy rain this month, please be very careful about landslides and such.
And as for tomorrow,
there are umbrella icons in the weather forecast,
but it seems it will be rain until 5 AM. And
in the afternoon, if things go well, there might be some sunshine. I see. That means I should be careful not to forget my umbrella in the morning. Yes, please be careful not to forget it during the morning commute.
And as for today and tomorrow, there will be many places in the south with rain in October, and especially in the morning, the temperature will drop below 20 degrees, so
please be careful about the chill in the morning and evening.
